Come celebrate August Brewery Night with special guests, Bristol Brewing, at Stout Street Social tonight from 6-8 p.m.! Beers featured that night include the popular Laughing Lab, honey wheat Beehive and the hard-to-find RyePA. The brewer will be on-site and available to chat about the beer program, plus offer tastings and complimentary food pairings. Stout Street Social offers discounted valet parking at the Embassy Suites next door and is conveniently located on the light rail line across from the Colorado Convention Center.

Oskar Blues IPA Release Party

Come hang in Longmont at the Tasty Weasel Taproom for the Oskar Blues IPA Release Party. They’ll have live music from Interstate Stash Express, food from Oskar Blues Homemade Liquids and Solids and some good ol’ Colorado outdoor activities like a rock wall and zipline. Can’t get much more #COnative than this, huh?

4-7 p.m.

Join Brewed Food and Jensen Cummings as they do it up again, this time at Spangalang Brewery. Food starts at 4 p.m. and lasts until about 7 p.m. Just belly up at the bar, buy your pairing ticket (it’s under $10 per person) and wait for the magic to happen. Pairing includes one smartly-crafted dish and two small pours of beers that open up the dish in different ways.

Let’s Talk About Firkins

Keyser Jose aka Chili Maibock (Mockery’s GABF Chile Beer Entry) taps Friday at 2 p.m.! In contrast to the obvious movie character reference they’re making, this beer is not something to be feared nor do you have to worry about it taking out everyone you know and love, one by one. Also, pick up a bottle of their first bottle release! Schizophrenic Narcoleptic is bottled and ready to be taken home from the taproom today! This Barrel Aged Imperial Coffee Stout took time and patience, but it paid off and this bad boy is delicious!

South Dock: Firkin Friday – ApriColada

Boulder Craft Beer Festival

Don’t miss the Second Annual Boulder Craft Beer Festival this Saturday–but if you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, bad news: tickets are sold out. The event brings together the best craft breweries from Boulder County and beyond for a tasting festival, offering attendees samples of Boulder’s best beer. The festival includes music, lawn games and food for purchase.

Central City Beer Fest

Come sample some of Colorado’s best brews at the Central City Beer Festival starting at 1 p.m. The pours will be flowing all day from 18 breweries and brewers happy to serve you up a cold one.

Yoga at Ratio Beerworks

Snowbank Brewing’s One Year Anniversary

On Saturday, the folks from Snowbank Brewing will be celebrating the end of their first year and the beginning of many more! They’re closing down the parking lot for a day of celebration. Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival

Black Project Spontaneous & Wild Ales Bottle Release

James Howat of Former Future and his side project Black Project Spontaneous & Wild Ales has heard your cries. Starting this month, you will be able to get your hands on a new 750mL bottle of his deliciously wild fermented brews every month. And yes, you just read correctly. This month features “Dreamland,” a sour golden ale for $18 a bottle with a five bottle max per person. Howat recommends you arrive early if you would like the full allotment, but he also promises that “everyone in line at noon will be able to get at least one bottle.” Look forward to another bottle release next month, too!

Salsa & Guacamole Competition

Get those salsa gardens ready for Dry Dock’s annual salsa competition! Categories include: mild salsa, hot salsa, sweet or other salsa and guacamole. Or just go to sample and be judge of this competition while washing it all down with some amazing beer.

Denver Bicycle Cafe Stand Up Open Mic

This open mic is hosted by James Xiong and Roger Haak on Sunday at The Denver Bicycle Cafe.
