Don Q Summer Rum Dinner

Tonight, enjoy a three-course meal with Don Q Rum inspired cocktails and bites by Lower48. There will be a patio reception featuring live music, cocktails and snacks at 6 p.m. with the main courses served at 7 p.m. Cost is $52 per person, and reservations can be made by calling Lower48 at (303) 942-0262.

Breck for Books

The folks at Lucky Pie Lodo, ReadyTalk and Breckenridge Distillery have teamed up to create and host an event that will help give books to kids. This Thursday from 4-8 p.m., come down to Lucky Pie LoDo to build your own pizza, enjoy some Breckenridge Distillery Bourbon and support a great cause! Bring the kids too, because this one is family friendly. All proceeds from Breckenridge Distillery drinks will go towards Burning Through Pages to help our efforts with Denver youth literacy, including our new partnership with Denver Public Schools. Other drink specials will also be available.

CSYP Social @ The Principal’s Office w/Outdoor Expo in the Gym!

You spoke and they listened. The Colorado Springs Young Professionals are back to The Principal’s Office to take advantage of their fantastic patio. Located at the Ivywild School, the Principal’s Office has some great neighbors. You’ll be able to shop for locally grown produce, locally raised and butchered organic meats, locally harvested honey, bread baked on site and even grab a growler of Bristol Brewing Company beer. All in one stop.

Wild in the Streets Bottle Release

Ratio Beerworks is excited to announce the release of Wild in the Streets, a farmhouse wheat ale fermented in red wine barrels, on Thursday at 6 p.m. This will mark the first release in Ratio’s artisan bottle series.

Great Divide Can Release Party

Every month, Copper Kettle holds a beer and cheese pairing hosted by The Truffle Cheese Shop. 5th Annual Ed Fest

Freedom Park, 450 Miller Ranch Rd., Edwards

3-10 p.m.

This year marks the fifth annual Alpine Insurance Agency Ed Fest, held at the Soccer Fields at WECMRD in Edwards, Colorado. There will be a beer tasting with over 65 breweries from 3-6 p.m. Performances by Colorado based bands will be performing on stage during the beer tasting. At 6 p.m., the beer tasting shuts down and a main cash bar opens, selling beer, wine and cocktails.

Red Evelyn Release Party 

Black Shirt Brewing Co., 3719 Walnut St.

2-10 p.m.

Every year, the Miller family at Black Shirt brews a batch of Imperial Red Rye IPA to honor their amazing Grandma Evelyn. This year, the release will be on Saturday from 2-10 p.m. and they are so excited to share it with you! They’ll have two great food trucks–WongWayVeg and Barbed Wire Reef–to feed yo’ belly. They’ll also have two great bands–Two Tone Wolf Pack and The Blue Rider–to make you stomp your feet and clap your hands! The beer will be on tap as well as in 22-oz bombers to go. The Curtis Club Grand Ol’ Opening

The folks from The Curtis Club are pleased to announce a brand new beginning for your favorite urban Western saloon, and they would love to see you in for their grand opening. They will be kicking off the day with a brand new brunch menu, accompanied with a different bottomless concept: “Bottomless Trays,” which is endless champagne with a variety of juices and jams to play around with. Breathe, Bend & Brew

Alpine Dog Brewing Company, 1505 Ogden St.

10:30 a.m.

Join 200-hour yoga teacher Melissa this Sunday for a fun and dynamic all-levels yoga practice at Alpine Dog Brewing Company. They’ll practice in the middle of the beautifully designed tap room at Alpine Dog. Stay after class to mingle with fellow students and enjoy a signature brew from the folks at Alpine Dog. $15 includes yoga class and a craft beer! All participants will receive $1 off each additional beer.

The Sour Incident #2

Barrels and Bottles Brewery, 600 12th St., Golden

11 a.m.

The folks at Barrels and Bottles had such a great time last year with The Sour Incident #1, they thought they’d bring it back. There is one keg of each beer, once they go, they are GONE! There are no tickets required. Tapping starts at 11 a.m. and they have 14 taps but check out what they have planned now.
