Feisty Spirits & Black Bottle Brewery Collaboration Dinner

The team at Barrels and Bottles might have a crush on Elevation Co. because their beer is going to be taking over 14 taps starting today! Get thirsty for the following selection: 2014 False Summit, 2014 Fanboy, 2014 Wildflowers, 2014 Senorita, 2014 Arête, 2015 Raspberry Gulch, 2015 Signal de Botrange, 2015 Fanboy, 2015 Third Base, 8 Second Kolsch, First Cast IPA, 7437 Double IPA, Little Mo Porter and Apis IV. Come catch the Alpine Dog crew’s newest addition to their tap list tonight! This super dank and roasty pale ale stays big on flavor but light on the alcohol. They will also be raffling off a pair of tickets to come see them at Sesh Fest this Saturday, so get there to ensure you’re weekend is off to a great start.

MainLine Turns 2 – Creole BBQ

Mainline is two years old, and you’re invited to celebrate with them! Tonight, enjoy a $25 all-you-can-eat creole-style meal that includes one Breckenridge Brewery or Wynkoop Brewing Co. beer. Menu items include crawfish, blue crab, corn on the cob, wedge salad, and red potatoes. Tickets are available for sale at the restaurant.

Beer & Cheese Pairing with Crooked Stave

The Denver Bicycle Cafe, 1308 E. 17th Ave.

7-9 p.m.

Join the Denver Bicycle Cafe team for a beer and cheese pairing featuring gourmet cheeses hand-picked to match a selection of four beers from Colorado brewers. This month’s focus is with Crooked Stave. Pair four 5oz craft beer pours with four different cheeses while discussing and learning from their cheese expert, Nate Cougill. Tickets are still available for $25 at Imbibe Events.

Fort Collins Brewery Monster moon Tap Takeover

On Friday, Ale House at Amato’s is releasing three Fort Collins Brewery monsters out of the cooler: Benard, a Belgian Dubbel; Dieter, a Dunkel; and Giles, a Golden Imperial. Enjoy these beers and the view of the full moon from the rooftop patio or dining room!

Great Divide Barrel Bar Grand Opening

Barrel Bar, 3403 Brighton Blvd.

Okay Great Divide fans! The Barrel Bar is finally open for business starting at noon on Friday. The grand opening will feature tours of the new canning line and packaging facility as well as limited offerings of some specialty and barrel aged beers. Starting Friday, the Barrel Bar will be open Sunday-Tuesday noon to 8 p.m. and Wednesday-Saturday noon to 10 p.m. Tours will be offered daily on the hour Monday-Friday 3-5 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 2-6 p.m. Tours are free and open to the public, no reservations required. The Barrel Bar will feature the full line-up of Great Divide beers, along with rotating specialty taps including nitro, barrel aged, and pilot system offerings. Packaged beers and Crowler fills will also be available.

Spangalang Art-Party

Thanks to their friends at the Denver Kush Club, the folks at Spangalang are turning the plaza into a beer garden this Friday! Come enjoy some incredible artwork from some of their amazingly talented friends. Also, come enjoy some questionable artwork from some of their less talented Spangalang employees! The Art-Party is officially from 5-9 p.m., but they’ll be open their usual noon-10 p.m.

Avers Concert and Sour Beer Release Full Moon Party!

Coda Brewing Co., 2101 N. Ursula Ct., Aurora

The summer is about music venues and sour beer, at least that’s what the team at Coda Brewing is feeling with this free concert! Avers is a psychedelic pop band mixed with a little fuzzed out shoegaze and garage rock. As far as beer goes, Coda will be pouring their Mountain Jam Peach sour, Dogcatcher Red sour, Brulant Imperial Saison sour and Hibiscus Lemongrass Belgian sour. These beers haven’t ben tapped since their anniversary party, so you know they’re going to be extra special.

Sesh Fest 2015

They can’t find a real definition for session beers, but the folks at Sesh Fest define them as any beer under 5 percent ABV with a balance of flavor between hops and malt and a clean, crisp finish all combine to give a beer high drinkability. The real purpose of session beers is to allow all the beer lovers out there (they know there are a ton of them) to enjoy multiple flavorful beers in one sitting without feeling the overwhelming effects of alcohol. 2015 Denver Beer Olympics

The 2015 Denver Beer Olympics will be benefiting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in effort to help fight blood cancers. The event will be held on Saturday and is an event for all beer lovers. Held at the Civic Center Park, breweries will be showcasing their beers and beer goers will have the opportunity to participate in beer related games and activities. The Craft Spirits Festival

The Craft Spirits Festival celebrates the agricultural roots of Colorado’s craft distilleries, and will feature spirits tastings from dozens of craft distilleries. All of the distillers make their spirits in Colorado with locally grown ingredients. The fest will feature various speakers on “Grain to Glass” distilling in Colorado. Prepare for a taste of knowledge with your spirits!

Basic Kneads Five Year Anniversary Party

Summer Brew Crawl with Alpine Dog Brewing, Mockery Brewing and Renegade Brewing

Craft beer. Bikes. Cruising. Join the crews at Alpine Dog Brewing Company, Mockery Brewing and Renegade Brewing Company in their Inaugural Summer Brew Crawl on Saturday. They will start at Mockery Brewing at 2 p.m. and bike over to Alpine Dog Brewery after a few rounds and then cruise over to wrap up the day on Renegade’s new patio. Participation is free, just grab a bike and cruise along with them to tour and sample three of Denver’s best craft breweries.

For the 4th year of Jack’s Benevolent Bash, The Post Brewing Company’s head chef and partner, Brett Smith, is gathering an all-star line up of restaurants and brewers to offer our guests spectacular food and drink to tantalize our taste buds and get us in the mood for giving for a great cause! This event is to honor the memory of Jack Ferrigno, a young boy with autism who thought in colors and brightened the lives of those around him. Jack’s parents, John Ferrigno, restaurateur and chef of ZoZo’s in St. John, and Kelly Straub will attend this event to raise money for the Autism Society of Boulder County.
