Call to Arms Grand Opening

Dear readers, your patience will be rewarded today as the folks from Call to Arms Brewing are finally opening their doors at noon today. The newest brewery on Tennyson–in the same area as Hops & Pie and Small Batch Liquors–will be starting of with a strong lineup: Clintonian Pale Ale, Oats and Hose Oatmeal Porter, Burkhalter Dunkelweizen, Amigos Borrachos Vienna Lager, Gluten Powerful Wit and their Zoiglbier. Don’t miss out!

July Brewery Night

This month’s brewery night at Stout Street Social features Crazy Mountain Brewing! Guests will receive complimentary beers from the brewery and the brewers will be on site to answer questions. Event lasts from 6-8 p.m.

5th Annual DBC Hop Swap

Denver Beer Co., 1695 Platte St.

Once again, the party people from Denver Beer Company will be swapping out their own traditional American Cascade, Centennial and Chinook hop plants to those with small plots of land and vertical space in exchange for community grown hops in the fall. Once the hops mature in the fall, How Swap participants will bring their hop harvest back to the brewery where they will be used in a true local brew. When the beer is ready for drinking, the participants will also be able to pick up their complimentary growler of their home-grown Hop Swap Ale. 150 hop plants will be given out starting at 4 p.m. on a first come, first serve basis.

Homebrewer’s Night

From 6-9 p.m., head to The Brew Hut for homebrewers night! Bring a bottle of your home-made beer, wine, cider, etc. to share and sip over.

Breckenridge Distillery Cocktail Patio Opening

Breckenridge Distillery will be opening their very first ever cocktail patio at their production facility this Friday. The grand opening weekend will have live music to accompany their fresh cold-pressed juice cocktails, plus $.50 of every cocktail will go directly to their local Family Intercultural Resource Center foundation.

The Fermentologists asked if Coda Brewing Co. would judge a girl scout cookie beer clone competition and they said yes! Brian ‘s Samoa Dat Porter won this competition and will be tapped for public consumption starting at 5 p.m.

Breckenridge Salted Grapefruit Farmhouse Ale Release

The folks of Breckenridge Brewery are celebrating Breckenridge’s 25th anniversary and their brand new brewery in Littleton, Colo., with their Salted Grapefruit Farmhouse Ale. This unique recipe is brewed with grapefruit peel and Hawaiian Sea Salt, and will only be available exclusively at their new brewery or at WOB locations! Dry, peppery, and hints of bubblegum all come from the farmhouse yeast. We added grapefruit and salt to increase the thirst quenching and refreshing properties. Pairs great with breakfast or a sunny deck.

Breckenridge Brewery’s 25th Anniversary Hootenanny

Boulder’s Twisted Pine Brewing Company will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Saturday with a lively indoor/outdoor party at the brewery on Walnut St. Live music, life-sized lot games, tasty truck food and special beer tappings are all part of the festivities taking place from 2-7 p.m. To commemorate the occasion, Twisted Pine will release its grand cru, Twenty to Life, a canary-colored Belgo-American ale with a light, bright body and tropical fruit finish. The special release will be available in 22 oz. bomber bottles and on draft at the brewery and select locations around Colorado.

Join the folks at Epic Ryde for a 60 minute special bike and beer indoor cycling class. This special class will take place at Epic Ryde and be followed by a beer at Ratio Brewing across the street. Fourth Annual “A Night to Remember” Beer Festival
