Bourbon & Cigar Dinner @ Hodson’s 

Hodson’s at the Streets of SouthGlenn, 6851 S. Gaylord St., #262, Centennial

It’s a question that’s been debated now for nearly 200 years: Which whiskey is best enjoyed with cigars? For anyone who understands the bold, fiery, nuanced flavors of bourbon, there’s only one answer, and guests at the Bourbon & Cigar Dinner at Hodsons at the Streets at SouthGlenn tonight at 6:30 p.m. will find out why. Meanwhile, Hodsons’ Executive Chef Justin Adrian and Chef de Cuisine James Doxon have collaborated on an inspired menu singularly designed to match the smoke, caramel, nut, oak and vanilla flavors inherent in the bourbons. Reservations are required ($65 per person; tax and tip included) for this event and can be made by calling (720) 457-3852.

Super Magick @ Left Hand Tasting Room

From 9-11:30 p.m., Super Magick (formerly known as Filthy Children) will be joining the folks of Left Hand for an awesome Friday night show in their Tasting Room. Plus, if you get your ticket for the show before 9 p.m. tonight, you’ll score a free pint for that night!

Duck & Cover @ Former Future

This Friday, the folks from Former Future will be hosting Duck & Cover in the taproom from 7-10 p.m. Expect acoustic live covers of some classics and unexpected mashups of your favorites. There’s no cover, so come on by and enjoy some amazing beer and tunes.

The Summer Flea

The Summer Flea is taking over the parking garage at 27th & Blake (2700 Blake St.) on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. each day. No cars this weekend, just a FLEAKIN’ good time. Make sure to RSVP to stay in the know and for a free New Belgium Beer (you can click on the photo at the top of this post to RSVP). This Flea will have over 200 vendors, lawn games on the rooftop, YOGA with CorePower at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, and plenty of cocktails from surprise vendor bars!

Colorado Brewers’ Festival 

Downtown Fort Collins, Washington Park & Civic Center Park areas

You don’t want to miss Colorado’s largest annual outdoor brewing festival, do you? We thought not. Tasting packages are still available for purchase here. The Colorado Brewers’ Festival is held on both Saturday and Sunday and includes over 100 Colorado beers from over 50 Colorado breweries. You can also expect live music, dozens of vendors and food trucks and an interactive “Beer School” with tastings and demonstrations.

Brews and Bites 

Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion, 400 E. 8th Ave.

Enjoy tastes of the Colorado Brewers Guild member’s masterfully crafted beer paired with the culinary creations of well-known Colorado chefs while wandering the rooms and gardens of “Colorado’s Home.” Brews and Bites will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. and GA and VIP tickets are still available. The proceeds raised from your ticket purchase will benefit the Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund, an inclusive, non-partisan 501(c)3 dedicated to preserving the historic Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion in perpetuity of the people of Colorado to enjoy.

Field Day at North Dock 

North Dock – Dry Dock Brewing, 2801 Tower Rd., Aurora

Saturday, Dry Dock will be hosting a field day for adults. Head over to their North Dock location from noon until 7 p.m. to enjoy a day of outdoor games and great beer!

Beer Links Denver

Enjoy over 40 beers and ciders and treat yourself to a sausage tasting at the Beer Links Denver event hosted by My Drink On this Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. General admission tickets are still available here. 

12Degree Brewing Two-Year Anniversary Party

Your favorite folks from 12Degree Brewing are celebrating two years of hard work and good beer from noon to midnight Saturday. There will be multiple beer releases throughout the day with West African band Paa Kow taking the stage at 7:30 p.m.

Pedal Poker Run 

Various Locations, Start at Baere Brewing Co., 320 Broadway St.

Meeting up at noon, join fellow cyclists and the folks from Chain Reaction Brewing Co. at Baere Brewing Co. for the Pedal Poker Run benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association. From Baere, you’ll head to Laws Whiskey House, Platt Park Brewing, Fermaentra, Grandma’s House and finally Chain Reaction. The registration fee is $25 and the fee can be made by cash or check at any of the mentioned venues or at Baere Brewing the day of the event.

bRUNch @ Humboldt Farm, Fish & Wine

The folks at Humboldt and bRUNch Running Denver want to inspire you. They want to provide you with an experience to sweat it out in an approachable setting with great food–fresh and honest food.
