Every other Thursday, Rex will be featuring some premiere blues artists out of Colorado! You won’t want to miss this! As a part of Denver’s inaugural Charc Week, restaurants and local breweries will join forces for Charc Bites, a charcuterie-focused cocktail party. Each chef will serve tasty bites and there will be craft beer and cocktails. Tickets are $45 per person and VIP tickets, which include early entry at 5 p.m., are $55.

Mockery Brewing is hosting Leaded for June’s First Friday! As an instrumental ensemble, a strong rhythm section of electric bass and drums carries the music, highlighted by traversing melodies of vibraphone and electric guitar. They will have 12 beers on tap and are open 2pm-11pm. Join in on the fun!

Yak & Yeti Pro-Am Beer Release

The team at Yak & Yeti will be releasing their raspberry lemon summer ale at 4 p.m. at their Arvada location. The summer ale is a Hefeweizen with lemon peel and raspberries brewed with Troy Leck from Colorado Springs and comes in at 5.1 percent ABV.
Anchor Brewing Exclusive WoB Tapping
World of Beer – LoDo, 1555 Blake St.
America’s first craft brewery Anchor Brewing Company brewed a beer just for World of Beer! A California Uncommon Kolsch-style Ale with Meyer Lemons. WOB will be tapping this exclusive beer that you can only get at a World of Beer Tavern or the brewery, and will be featuring other delicious offerings from Anchor Brewing as well! Fun starts at 5 p.m.!
June First Friday @ The infinite Monkey Theorem

Join Infinite Monkey Theorem for a First Friday throw down featuring their friends from Larkburger. $5 cans of vino/cider, $5 burger and fries and jams from Foxfeather. The lovely Ashley Joon will also be doing a live painting and featuring her art throughout the winery for the entire month.

Sanitas Fest ’15

The Sanitas Fest promises to bring together a blend of local music including but not limited to: The Hop Pickers, Groundscore, DJ DugE, Nate Hrivnak, Jaden Carlson Band, Coal Creek with Luke Bulla and headlining is EUFORQUESRA. There will be loads of activities, yard games, the hippest food trucks and of course delicious Sanitas beer! Tickets are still available and can be ordered in the tao room or here. The Brew Hut’s 20th Anniversary Party

The shop that founded Dry Dock Brewing Company back in 2005 is turning 20, you guys! Join the Brew Hut team as they celebrate all that they’ve brought to the craft beer industry through education, supplies and starting other great breweries. From 11-3 p.m, The Brew Hut’s 20th Anniversary Party will showcase beers brewed by employees, allow guests to bring in their own homebrews and release their anniversary Mandarina Pale Ale served by Dry Dock.
Brewery Boot Camp @ Ratio

Boot camp at a brewery, you say? Here’s what’s included: an hour long boot camp starting at 11 a.m. ran by a certified personal trainer, so you know it’s legit. The folks at Ratio will be working out with a diverse selection of beer related equipment to ensure a fun and totally unique way to start your weekend! Think kegs, grain bags, bar stools, cans filled with concrete… After your invigorating workout you will be rewarded with a VIP tour of the brewery and one of Ratio Beerworks’ amazing beers.
First Annual Crawfish Boil @ World of Beer

On Saturday, the World of Beer family invites you to join them for their first annual crawfish boil. Mhmm–they’re even flying those crawdads overnight from Louisiana for your eating pleasure. Chef Nate will start at 11 a.m. and will keep going until all 200 pounds are gone! For $10, WoB Loyalty members get a plate of crawfish, and Abita beer and a pint glass to keep! Non-members will receive a plate of crawfish only for $10, but there’s still time to join up to maximize your experience.
Platt Park Brewing Co. One Year Anniversary

Time goes by so quickly when you’re having a blast! Platt Park Brewing will be holding their one year anniversary party at noon and will turn their space into a seven tap bar featuring their barrel-aged and sour beers. Never fear, though–they’ll also still have their 10 main taps floating around.
Crawfish Boil @ Blackbird

There will be ALL YOU CAN EAT crawfish available starting at 5 p.m. thanks to your friends at Blackbird. They recommend getting reservations for this shindig as space is limited! The price for this feast is $35 per person, $10 per child. They will also be serving oysters, fried chicken, ribs, gumbo, Lynchburg Lemonade, Mint Juleps, Peach Smash and Belmont Breeze.

What’s better than a wing competition by your favorite local chefs and whiskey to pair them with? I’m guessing not a whole lot. Join the folks at Ace Eat Serve as Denver’s chop chefs compete for the title of Denver’s Wing King at the second annual Wings & Whiskey! General admission starts at 4 p.m. and includes three drink tickets and unlimited wing tastings. The chefs vying for this honor are Jamey Fader (Big Red F), Matt Selby (Central Bistro), Elija Odell (Highland Tap and Burger), Mimi Banish (Osage Café), Mark Dym (Marco’s Coal Fired Pizza), Ryan Higgins (Lou’s Food Bar), Amos Watt and Steve Redzekowski (Acorn and Oak at Fourteenth), Brandon Foster (Vesta), Cliff Blauvelt (Steuben’s) and Chris Medved (Ace Eat Serve). Black Project Spontaneous & Wild Ales “Ramjet” Release

You’ve waited patiently for the next release from Black Project Beer, the side-venture by James Howat from Former Future Brewing. Well, your patience will finally be rewarded Sunday starting at noon as the team will release “Ramjet,” a spontaneous sour ale with cherries. This beer was made using our coolship and aged for close to a year in a single red wine barrel. Montmorency cherries were added to the barrel for a second fermentation. This ale will be sold in 750mL bottles for $25 each and limits will be announced on the day of the release in order to ensure everyone has a fair shot at at least one bottle.
