Beer and Cheese @ Denver Bicycle Cafe

Join the party people of Denver Bicycle Cafe for a beer and cheese pairing featuring gourmet cheeses hand-picked to match a selection of four beers from Colorado brewers. This month’s focus is with Station 26 Brewing. Pair four five oz craft beer pours with four different cheese while discussing and learning from our cheese expert, Nate Cougill.

Since 1991, the folks of Project Angel Heart have been committed to providing nutritional meals to those living with a life-threatening illness. Every year, participating restaurants in the Denver and Boulder areas donate a percentage of their proceeds to the cause. Today is your day to help contribute! New Holland Brewing Tapping

Freshcraft, 1530 Blake St.

Oh yeah, New Holland in the house (of Freshcraft) tonight starting at 7 p.m.! On tap will be White Hatter White IPA, Black Tulip Belgian Triple and Incorrigible Sour Ale. The kitchen staff even crafted a perfectly paired charcuterie plate for these special beers. Not enough reason to come in tonight, you say? Well, Freshcraft is also one of the participating locations that will be donating 25 percent of all food sales to Project Angel Heart, too.

Deliria Tapping

Barrels and Bottles Brewery, 600 12th St #160, Golden

From 5-9 p.m., Barrels and Bottles Brewery will be tapping a limited edition brew in celebration for International Women’s Day, which was on May 8. Eighteen women from Belgium and abroad got together to brew Deliria, a 8.5 percent ABV heavy blonde, and a portion of the proceeds from this beer will go to support the bomb ladies of the Pink Boots Society. First 30 pours of this beer also come with a Delirium Tremens glass!

April Showers at Beryl’s

Hulk’s Mash 2015 Denver Comic Con Beer Release Party

The 1up – Colfax, 717 E. Colfax Ave.

This year’s knock-out Denver Comic Con themed “Hulk’s Mash,” will debut at a free show at The 1up – Colfax. Featuring: Total Ghost (Last Show Ever!), Gin Doctors (90’s Cover Band), #Dj Caramello, & n810. The beer is delightful pale ale made with mango puree and Mosaic hops. It sounds mild-mannered, but don’t be fooled. Mosaic hops produce an aromatic punch of mango, lemon, citrus, and earthy pine scents. Loads of pulverized mangos heroically balance the hoppy aroma and flavor. Fun starts at 7:30 p.m.!

Kentucky Derby Party @ Hodsons at the Streets

Have you been anxiously awaiting this day, the day that you finally get to wear the ridiculously massive vintage sun hat that’s been hiding away in the back of your closet? Well, not only is it encouraged to wear it for the Kentucky Derby, Hodsons at the Streets at SouthGlenn is going to give you the chance to win a prize for it! There will also be a Southern cuisine-inspired buffet ($30 per person, available from 2-5:30 p.m.) and equally as inspired drink specials! South Denver Beer Festival

The South Denver Beer Fest showcases over 80 breweries from around the world with an emphasis on our local breweries. The festival takes place in beautiful Clement Park in Littleton, Colorado. The festival is set next to a lake with Rocky Mountain views in a distance. Guests will have the opportunity to sample over 120 beers and vote for their favorites in a variety of categories. The festival will also feature a special VIP section devoted to craft spirits and VIP ONLY BEERS. There’s still time to snag tickets, so get on that, will ya?

TheBigWonderful Opening Day

Welcome back TheBigWonderful for its sophomore season! If you don’t know already, this event is an outdoor, sustainable marketplace that blends local farm-fresh food, craft beer, eclectic artisans, live music and family-friendly entertainment into one centralized, Saturday block party! Big Choice Brewing’s Third Year Anniversary
