DSTILL Showcase

As the main event of the entire week of DSTILL, the Showcase is where guests can enjoy a wide range of offerings from Colorado and 12 other states known for their craft liquor distilling. Try different styles side-by-side or try them in skillfully made cocktails that will also be available throughout the event. While you’re at it, meet your favorite makers and bartenders while trying some delicious food from Salt & Grinder, Old Major, Williams & Graham, Luca d’Italia, Colt & Gray, Osteria Marco, Stoic and Genuine, Work & Class, Glazed and Confused and Dead Dog Chocolate! Tickets are still available but they won’t last long! General admission starts at 7 p.m.

Wasatch Brewery Launches Nitro in Denver

World of Beer LoDo, 1555 Blake St.

The folks at Wasatch Brewery have bottled nitro with their new release of Polygamy Nitro Porter, making it the second brewery in the country to finesse a bazillion tiny bubbles into a bottle. This nitrogenated Porter is six percent ABV, soft and creamy, and will be officially launched at World of Beer in downtown Denver at 6 p.m. The public is invited to enjoy! There will be nitro pouring demonstrations (#hardpour), free Polygamy Nitro Porter tastings, interaction with award-winning brew master Jon Lee, giveaways, prizes and a bazillion bubbles.

Exploding Kittens Playtest Party

The Lords of The Oatmeal have graciously shared their latest “caterific” card creation Exploding Kittens with Stapleton Tap House to share with all of you! Golden Feather Sour Blonde Tapping

The team at Former Future is bringing back Golden Feather sour blonde in THREE different ways starting at 3 p.m. The first tapping will be of the Corvus Coffee Abakundakawa version. At 4 p.m., they’ll tap the dry-hopped mosaic version, and at 5 p.m. they’ll tap the “Gose” with salt and coriander version. Three tasty beers in one night? Yes please.

Tectum et Elix Release Party

Avery Brewing Co., 4910 Nautilus Ct, Boulder

Tectum et Elix, a sour ale aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, kicks off what Avery is calling “Sour Spring.” Avery will release Tectum et Elix at their new brewing facility in GunBarrel at 11 a.m. as well as offer a four-course menu paired with barrel-aged beers. There is a limited quantity of seats for this Prix Fixe barrel-aged pairing starting the day of the event. Tickets are $50 per person.
