Colorado Beer Book Showcase

In honor of Colorado Craft Beer Week, North Dock is hosting a Colorado Beer Book Showcase! Meet the authors of three Colorado beer title – Colorado Breweries by Dan Rabin, Colorado’s Top Brewers by Emily Hutto and Mountain Brew by Ed Sealover – from 4-7 p.m. at Canoe Room at North Dock. Guests can purchase books and get them signed at this event.

Dialectic Materialism Tapping

Miss out on Collab Fest? Don’t worry, you can still try Crooked Stave’s collaboration with Comrade Brewing Company – they’re doing a special tapping of “Dialectic Materialism” at noon! Dialectic Materialism is a sour imperial wit with viognier grape must. Go get your hands on some before it’s gone!

Strawberry Cream Ale Release

Joyride Brewing, 2501 Sheridan Blvd., Edgewater

While the brewmaster of Joyride Brewing was away on vacation, he let two of their assistant brewers design and brew whatever they wanted. The outcome? A strawberry cream ale just in time for the spring weather! Rolling Smoke BBQ will be serving up grub and the taproom garage doors will be rolled up in order to provide a clear view of Sloan’s Lake.

COCBW: Oskar Blues & Left Hand Tapping

Starting at 7 p.m., the folks at Oskar Blues Brewery  and Left Hand Brewing Company are teaming up to bring you some amazing beers on draft at Freshcraft. On tap will be: Left hand Smoke Jumper, Left Hand Oak Wake Up Dead, Left Hand Milk Stout, Oskar Blues Bolivia Newton John coffee stout, Oskar Blues Don’t Beer the Reaper multigrain harvest ale and Oskar Blues Tickled Pink saison with raspberries.

Sour Fest

Falling Rock Tap House, 1919 Blake St.

The rad people at Falling Rock have released their list of sours that they’ll be pouring tonight, and it’s to die for. Starting at 5:30 p.m., expect to see the following brews: Allagash Broken Elevator, Almanac Farmer’s Reserve Blueberry, Backcountry Sour Hop, Breakside Juggling Plums, Bruery Rueze, Crooked Stave Progenitor Noir, Destihl St. Dekkera Reserve Sour Pommebier met Frambozen, Firestone Walker Brettaweisse, Gueuze Tilquin, Lost Abbey Cuveé de Tomme, New Belgium La Folie, New Belgium Le Terrior, Russian River Tion’s, Trois Dames Fianceé and Vander Ghinste Oud Bruin. In addition to these amazing beers, word on the street is that there’s a good chance some Cantillon will also be poured tonight. Our advice? Get your butts down there!

Hops + Handrails

Left Hand Brewing is bringing the mountain to the people, with 50 of their brewery friends! Back for its third year, Hops + Handrails Beer Fest & Rail Jam returns to Longmont, Colorado. The hybrid winter event will feature a 50 craft brewery fest alongside a 40’ high snowboard ramp and rail jam competition. Join them for five hours of unlimited tasters from the best breweries across the US while watching Colorado’s best riders do flips and tricks off the ramp! Plus enjoy live music, Riglet Park for the kids, food and much more!

A Taste of Jazz

Starting at 4 p.m., enjoy the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra‘s unique and exciting repertoire of classics, standards and tunes you can hum along to in this iconic Denver venue. A Taste of Jazz will feature 20 of Denver’s finest jazz musicians with vocals by Suzanne Morrison and Doug Barta. Prior to the concert, there will be a wine and beer tasting at 2:30 p.m. provided by Infinite Monkey Theorem Urban Winery and Epic Brewing. Come enjoy a night of good drinks and good tunes!

Beer Brunch with Barley’s Angels

West Flanders Brewing Co., 1125 Pearl St., Boulder

Creating new food and beer concepts based on old tradition is part of West Flanders Brewing Co. philosophy, and they are excited to share this with the members of the Barley’s Angels Colorado. A three course brunch paired with 3 Belgian beers and a welcome beermosa will be offered. Not only is this a great opportunity to tickle your taste buds with new flavors, but also an opportunity to learn more about the craft beer industry.

The women of West Flanders will share the history of the brewery and the stories of their pairings during brunch. A special guest speaker will also be in attendance, Bethany Labbe -owner of Periodic Brewing in Leadville, CO. She will tell of her experiences in opening a brewery. Brewery Collectibles Show

The Mile High chapter of the Brewery Collectibles Club of America is hosting a showcase at South Dock! Guests can bring in their vintage beer items for appraisals, buy and sell, and browse through the club’s collection of classic beer cans and brewery swag starting at noon.

Talk Beer and BBQ with Mockery Brewing

Like Craft Brew? Like Barbeque? Want to explore RiNo, home to a host of breweries including Epic, Mockery, Crooked Stave, Our Mutual Friend, River North and the upcoming Great Divide campus? Then this is the group for you.

The first event starts at Brew n Q where you’ll get an orientation to the brew shop and enjoy a discussion about how to make succulent, pulled pork sandwiches. Sandwiches will be generous, but taster-sized, and then you’ll take them over to Mockery Brewing to enjoy a brew tour and see how their beer pairs with the food.

Ticket prices are $20.00 and include a sandwich, barbeque discussion, and your first pint at Mockery, craft beer discussion and brewing tour, gratuity, tax and ticket processing charges. At the request of the homebrew shop, this event is also a fundraiser for ALS and $6.50 of each ticket will be donated to the non-profit. Tickets are available here.

Beer and Donut Pairing Event

Pateros Creek Brewing, 242 N. College Ave., Fort Collins

Pateros Creek Brewing and The Donut Lodge are presenting a beer and donut pairing event in Fort Collins on the last day of Colorado Craft Beer Week. From 11:30-2 p.m., your ticket gets you four beers paired with four donuts, one of which is baked with Pateros Creek’s Stone Giant Oatmeal Raising Stout. Hear from their Head Brewer about the brewing process as well as from the owner of the Donut Lodge about his unique donut recipe. $15 in advance and day-of via Pateros Creek.
