Crimson Death Bottle Release @ TRVE

Tonight, TRVE Brewing relinquishes their next sour offering, Crimson Death. Crimson Death is a sour ale aged on raspberries and boysenberries. The ale clocks in at 8.1% ABV. This is their first new, general release sour in a long while. 375 millimeter singles, adorned with another bodacious Samuel Turner label. Do not miss out on this beauty!
Comrade IIPA Release
Comrade Brewing, 7667 E. Iliff Ave.
The folks at Comrade have gone and done it; they’re releasing their first IIPA to the masses at noon. It weights in at 9.5% ABV and +100 IBUs. It’s brewed with Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, Millennium and Galaxy, so go get in there and try some, you guys!
Smoked Lager Release at Mockery

The cool peeps at Mockery Brewing couldn’t ask for better weather this First Friday! Today’s festivities include the release of their newest beer, a smoked lager; Blow the Vault will be playing some bluegrass; Quiero Arepas serving their delicious food and there will be happy hour pricing before 8 p.m.! Rum Barrel Aged Pumpkin Porter Nitro Release @ CKB

CKBC’s Imperial Pumpkin Porter aged in Rum barrels is back on tap and on nitro! This beer has been aging for four months in barrels giving it a fuller rum flavor with the same great pumpkin pie spices. Tony Guacamole Food Truck will be there serving up awesome Mexican crafted cuisine, as well!

Lost in the Woods: La Folie Release Party

It’s back! New Belgium’s third annual Lost in the Woods sour soiree in Fort Collins celebrates New Belgium’s passion for sour beers. The party will also feature the premiere of two 2015 sour beer vintages: La Folie, the award-winning sour brown ale that launched New Belgium’s wood beer program back in 1997, and Transatlantique Kriek, a wood-aged sour cherry ale brewed in collaboration with Belgium’s Oud Beersel. Tickets were limited to 60 and unfortunately sold out quickly, but congrats to those who did manage to snag a spot!

Mayor of Oldtown welcomes AMC’s the Walking Dead back this Sunday and they will be tapping Ninkasi’s ‘Dawn of the Red’ to celebrate. The first showing is at 7 p.m. and the second is at 9 p.m.
