DESTHIL Launches in Colorado
Various Locations, CO
January 12-15 were a few great days for the realm of beer in Colorado. Some fine folks from DESTHIL Brewery out of Illinois traveled here to personally introduce their amazing brews to the awaiting public throughout CO. Their pitstops this past week included Backcountry Pizza in Boulder, Choice City and Tap n Handle in Fort Collins, World of Beer LoDo, Mr. B’s Wine & Spirits and The Populist. Live near one of these places? There’s a good chance you can still get your hands on the first round of beers DESTHIL brought with them this weekend, but hurry!

Whiskey Barrel Quandary Returns
River North Brewery, 2401 Blake St. #1
River North saw a need to let their epic Whiskey Barrel Quandary sit and age a teeny tiny bit longer instead of releasing it during the holidays last year. But now they deem it ready for consumption–rejoice! Big enough to keep you warm on top of the fourteener that bears its name, Whiskey Barrel Quandary is loaded with notes of ripe plum, rich specialty malts and a whiskey kick. Aged in rye and bourbon barrels, this 100 percent barrel-aged blend finished at 12.7 percent ABV. Tapping starts at 1 p.m.
