Trick or Treat: Where and What to Drink on Halloween

Join The Infinite Monkey Theorem and the Easy Killers for a Halloween party monkey style!? IMT will be serving up wine specials all night long. What says Halloween better than wine in a can? Doors open at 5 p.m. with the real party getting under way at 9. More details available on the IMT Facebook page.

Day of the Dead
In Mexican tradition, death occurs three times. First, a physical death when our hearts stop beating and the space we occupy loses meaning. Second, a symbolic death when our bodies are lowered into the ground and returned to the earth. Third, a final death when we cease to exist in the memories of the living. The Day of the Dead honors those that have passed, keeping memories and spirits alive. Tamayo on Larimer Square will honor both Halloween and the Day of the Dead with a special menu from Friday 10/31 – Sunday 11/2. Mercury Cafe
Brazilian Halloween
Mercury Cafe wants you to celebrate the dead by samba and drinking caipirinhas. This dance party and costume ball features live music by Ginga. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. with dance lessons at 9. Cover is $12. More information can be found at their website

Ace Eat Serve
Cosmic Pong Halloween Party!
If you want to feel like you are at a house party but actually aren’t then this could be the spot for you. Ace is hosting its second annual Halloween party complete with DJ, Cosmic Pong and happy hour drink prices all night long. More information can be found on their Facebook page. Parties of eight or more are encourage to make a reservation and if your entire group shows up in costume, you get to play pong for free for two hours!

Dry Dock Brewing Co. South Dock
Firkin Friday – Caramel Apple Old Ale
Every Friday at Dry Dock’s South Dock they release a specialty firkin. To get you in the Halloween spirit, on the 31st they will be releasing a Caramel Apple Old Ale. More information can be found on their website.

Wills & Chills: Halloween Costume Party
