Summer Nights @ the Museum
Denver Museum of Nature & Science, 2001 Colorado Blvd.
As a reccurring Friday night event until August 29, indulge in your childhood curiosity at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science with local food, drinks and fun for Summer Nights @ the Museum from 5-8 p.m. For this Summer Nights, Richard Sandoval will be there to present a cooking demo and tequila pairing. Tickets are $15 for non-members and $12 for members, but tickets have been selling out super fast. It’s encouraged to buy yours ahead of time online! Colorado Birthday Firkin Party
38 State Brewing Co., 8071 S Broadway, Littleton

On August 1, 1876 Colorado joined the Union as the country’s 38th state. On Friday at 38 State Brewing, celebrate the Centennial State’s 138th birthday with a Firkin Birthday Party from 4-9 p.m. This firkin party will see two brand new brews tapped in honor of 138 – a true-to-style Porter, as well as a unbelievable Vanilla Porter that is sure to impress even the most savvy beer connoisseurs. The party will include a cornhole tourney, big brick Jenga, prizes, giveaways, cold brews, and food from The Rolling Italian.

“Thank you, I’ll have another!” Sesh Fest, the second event in the Lovibond Series presented by The Colorado Brewers Guild and Imbibe Denver, is an event where attendees can sample a multitude of beers without feeling the overwhelming effects of alcohol. Even the price of admission is palatable; tickets start at $20 for six 6-oz pours and $30 for unlimited tastings.

Left Hand Brewing Company, 1265 Boston Ave. Longmont

Leftapalooza, featuring the Mile High Tribute Band Competition, is back for its fourth year! Left Hand Brewing Company’s ultimate music and craft beer experience brings together some of the most talented cover acts in the country to help raise funds and support for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. With the live music kicking off at noon, the eight bands lined up have a little something for everyone plus plenty of local food, craft beer, and the Left Hand Kid Zone! The party goes until 10 p.m. and tickets are just $10 for adults!

SafeHouse Denver Fundraiser
El Chingon, 4326 Tennyson St.

From 5-10 p.m., 20 percent of food sales at El Chingon will be donated to SafeHouse Denver, a women and children’s shelter. DJ Beds will also be spinning tunes all night long on the brand new patio.

Keystone Bluegrass & Beer Festival
River Run Village, 100 Dercum Square, Keystone

The Keystone Bluegrass & Beer Festival hosts about 30 breweries pouring hundreds of beers. Tickets for basic entry are $10 in advance, $12 at the door and the festival takes place from 1-5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Beer sampling tickets are $40 for a one-day unlimited pass and $75 for a full-weekend, two-day pass. Sampling tickets include all the beer you can drink as well as performances from more than 14 bluegrass bands.

Black Sky Metal Festival 
Gothic Theatre, 3263 S. Broadway

Black Sky Brewery has gone and released a new Koslch to celebrate the returning two-day long metal festival they host that will be held at the Gothic Theatre. Tickets can be bought (with no service fees) at the brewery, and two-day passes go for $50. Want to get them online instead? Alright, cool. Just RSVP here first.

Avery Brewing’s 21st Anniversary Party

Wild Wings at Jagged Mountain
Jagged Mountain Brewery, 1139 20th St

As part of Jagged Mountain‘s non-profit program, Wild Wings Environmental Education will be bringing in two owls (including Sophie the Great Horned Owl), a peregrine falcon, and an American kestrel into the taproom from 3-7 p.m. to help inform and educate everyone about the importance of birds of prey in the ecosystem. One dollar from each beer sold that day will be donated to Wild Wings. Come on out for a great time and great cause!
