It’s official, the Summer Solstice is this Saturday, June 21. We can all stop pretending summer started three weeks ago and stop feeling bad for wearing jorts (depending on who you are).

Let’s all instead look forward to longer nights and more patio weather. This weekend isn’t going to disappoint you.

TRVE Brewing’s Second Anniversary Party and Volume II Release 
TRVE Brewing Company, 227 Broadway # 101

TRVE Brewing has reached its second year in providing you with delicious brews and metal beats with wicked service. Part One of their terrible two celebration starts by them releasing their anniversary beer, Volume II. This beer is a potently sour brown ale fermented in High West whiskey barrels with Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus. Volume II weighs in at a hefty 11 percent, and will be available on draft at the brewery. This brew will be pretty limited, so get there early to enjoy some.

TRVE Brewing’s Second Anniversary Bacchanal
Marquis Theatre,

Here is Part Two of the anniversary celebrations with TRVE Brewing, and they’re bringing the next best thing they offer besides beer and service; badass tunes. Buy tickets online here for their Second Anniversary Bacchanal at the Marquis Theatre now or at the taproom. The celebration lasts from 6-9 p.m. and will feature Power Trip, Bongripper, Call of the Void, In the Company of Serpents, Khemmis, Stoic Dissention and the Catholic Girls to ring in TRVE’s terrible twos. Due to partying hardcore, TRVE’s taproom will be closed on Sunday.

Renegade Block Party
Renegade Brewing Company, 900 block of W. 9th Avenue

Saturday Renegade Brewing Company will be throwing a huge block party on the 900 block of W. 9th Avenue, right in front of the brewery. They will have live music all day, some fantastic food trucks, ice cream, and tons of beer! MaxFund No-Kill Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is even coming out with their mobile adoption van! There is no entrance fee and all beers are just five bucks. They will be tapping some of their favorite beers of the last year as well as their usual Offensively Delicious line-up. A free bike valet will be provided by The Denver Bicycle Cafe. Food Trucks include: Matt’s Snack ShackBaba & Pop’s KitchenSlider Shack 303 and Em’s Ice Cream.

Funkwerk’s Half Birthday Party
Funkwerks, 1900 E Lincoln Ave, Fort Collins

From 2 p.m. to close, join Funkwerks in Fort Collins to celebrate their 3.5 years of making delicious saison-focused suds! They have a nice patio and want to use it to celebrate a birthday in the warmer months–who could blame them? First 50 folks to party get a free beer on them, and there will be complimentary BBQ from Hog Wild while supplies last. There will also be raffle drawings from 2-6 p.m. where you could win beer and other Funkwerks goodies.

Beer Garden Grand Opening

Just in time for the summer months, Black Shirt Brewing Co. has finished work on their beer garden for your enjoyment. They’ll have several of their Red Ales on tap, a food truck, cornhole boards, and live music from Sawmill Joe to kick off the grand opening! Come and kick back with the BSB crew!

Almanac Beer Company Release Into Colorado 
Hops & Pie, 3920 Tennyson St.Almanac Beer Company is a San Francisco, California contract brewery that makes farm-to-table beers in small batches using fruit, grains and herbs purchased from local family farms, and now you can try their beers at Hops & Pie for a bit. Tapping at 2 p.m., you’ll get the chance to try their Strawberry Dogpatch, Golden Gate Gose, Almanac IPA, Honey Saison, and Farmer’s Reserve Blackberry. Get there while you can (and fight the line)!

BRU No. 2 Second Anniversary
BRU Handbuilt Ales & Eats, 5290 Arapahoe, Boulder

BRU Handbuilt Ales & Eats, which was originally conceived and founded in chef Ian Clark’s Boulder garage, will celebrate its second anniversary Sunday with a party from 1-8 p.m. There will be special tapping’s, including the First Anniversary bomber pouring at 2:30 p.m. and the Second Anniversary release at 3:30 p.m. There will also be live music and a pig roast with all the fixins’ included. Tickets are $25 in advance.

Trellis Garden Ale Release
Odell Brewing Co., 800 East Lincoln Ave, Fort Collins

Odell Brewing Co. will celebrate the first weekend of summer with the release of their newest Cellar Series beer, Trellis Garden Ale. Trellis is brewed with flowers and herbs from their neighbors at The Gardens on Spring Creek, and one dollar from each bottle sold will benefit their efforts. Bottle release celebrations will continue through Sunday with live music from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
