Freshcraft, 1530 Blake Street

Friday night is the night! At 7 p.m. sharp, Freshcraft will be tapping Great Divide Yeti aged in Fireside Whiskey barrels from Mile High Spirits. Also on draft will be Great Divide Rumble, Chocolate Yeti, and Saint Bridget’s Porter–a throwback in the Great Divide arsenal. Happy American Craft Beer Week, y’all!

Jake’s Brew Bar, 2540 West Main Street, Littleton

Jake’s Brew Bar has grown and they want to celebrate their new pad with you! Enjoy the spankin’ new patio and the 36 beers on draft, two cask brews and their awesome bottle selection. Party starts at 2 p.m. today, but come by any day this weekend to join in on the celebration!

Crazy Mountain Brewing Company, 439 Edwards Access Road, B-102, Edwards

To close out their Beerlympics competition in honor of American Craft Beer Week, Crazy Mountain is holding a keg bowling tournament! The fun starts at 5:30 p.m., so make sure you’re registered by 5:15. This is the moment you’ve been waiting for to so your stuff.

Avery Brewing, 5763 Arapahoe, Boulder

Avery Brewing is turning 21 this year and will release their “Twenty One” Anniversary Beer at 5 p.m. at their Tap Room. This year’s anniversary beer is an Imperial India-style Brown Ale. Everyone knows your 21st is a doozy, so expect a great time.

Colorado Cider Company, 2650 W 2nd Ave #10

With cider becoming a popular product of homebrewing in Colorado, the American Homebrewers Association has decided to host a rally at a cidery for the first time. Colorado Cider Company will host the next AHA from 1-4 p.m., where non-AHA members can register at a discounted rate. The event is free for current AHA members; RSVP for the event here. Non-members can join now, too!

Odyssey Beerwerks, 5535 W 56th Ave, Suite 107, Arvada

With doors opening at noon, come help Odyssey Beerwerks celebrate a year‘s worth of fine craftsmanship and good times. There will be dancing and food from Bubba Dukes BBQ, The Orange Crunch, and Chuey Fu’s all day. Come check it out!

Denver Beer Co., 1695 Platte Street

Who said you can’t have beer and dessert for lunch? Denver Beer Co. and Sugar Bakeshop have paired up to bring you a wondrous event celebrating the joys of adulthood. DBC’s Kaffir Lime Wheat was obviously intended to be paired with a blueberry muffin

Special guest Emily Hutto, author of Colorado’s Top Brewers, will be at Freshcraft from 3-5 p.m. to talk about, sell, and sign copies of her awesome book. As featured in her book, Freshcraft’s Chicken Paillard dish paired with Dry Dock Amber will be available to try in real life, along with a special keg of Dry Dock Sour Apricot Blonde. Pucker up!

The rad folks at Elevation Beer Co. are throwing down for their Second Year Anniversary Party during American Craft Beer Week! Live music from Trout Steak Revival, food from Kalamatapit Food Truck, and plenty of great beers to go around! Starting at 11:30 a.m., join the roasters of Ozo Coffee and the toasters of Avery Brewing for a unique confluence of a morning cup and an evening pint. Sample single-origin coffees and craft brews, and then create your own blends!

Epic Brewing Company, 3001 Walnut Street

Introducing Beer School brought to you by Epic Brewing. Join Brewer Brian Arnold or Barrel Manager Anthony Baez for a session on the essentials of enjoying craft beer. They will walk you through a tasting with full sensory analysis. Other topics include proper glassware, purchasing, storing and cellaring beers. The session will also include a Q&A, so come prepared with questions for the experts!
