The McNichols Building, 144 West Colfax

Don your finest Western fashion and enjoy craft beer, BBQ and live country music at Slue Foot Sue’s Shindig! The party will be from 6-10 p.m. and you’ll be able to sip on beers from City Star BrewingGreat DivideJagged MountainBackcountry and Station 26! Here’s the kicker; tickets are only $10! One ticket gets you three tokens for three 12-ounce craft beers and some tasty BBQ from Moe’s.

City Hall, 1144 Broadway

Pancakes and Booze Art show, Denver’s largest underground art show with over 75 artists, live body painting, all you can eat pancake bar, and more is happening tonight from 8 p.m. – 2 a.m. Tickets are $5 at the door!

Saturday, May 10

Whistle Stop Park, Niwot 

It’s like Denver’s New Kids On the Block, Northern Colorado style. New Brew Fest will have over 70 craft beers and ciders pouring from 26 new breweries, all having been in business for five years or less. The event is from 1-5 p.m. with a special after party being held at Bootstrap Brewing Company.

38 State Brewing Company, 8071 S. Broadway Unit A, Littleton

Littleton has a new brewery to look forward to starting Saturday. 38 State Brewing Company will have five of their beers on tap for their opening, including an amber ale, a lemon honey wheat, a chocolate bourbon stout, a Double IPA, and a Scottish Ale. El Toro the Tot will be providing the grub!

BookBar, 4280 Tennyson Street

Local Author and vintage beer connoisseur, Patrick Dawson, will be at BookBar to discuss and sign his book ‘Vintage Beer: A Taster’s Guide to Brews That Improve Over Time.’ Epic Brewing will be pouring tastes of their vintage barrel-aged beers for $5 or free with book purchase.

The Squire Lounge, 1800 E. Colfax Ave.

Holy moly–The Squire is turning 75 Saturday! They’ve remodeled since their early days, and even though they don’t have that dive bar vibe anymore, they still have the dive bar prices on drinks! In true Squire fashion, the party will begin at noon and continue until 2 a.m. There will be food provided by food trucks after 7:30 p.m. and live comedy and DJ’s all night long. Come celebrate at one of Denver’s oldest bars!

Tell your mom how cool she is this Mother’s Day with a brunch designed by Farm to Truck, featuring beermosas and Corvus Coffee! Brunch begins at 10:30 and runs until 2 p.m.
