The Post is throwing a patio party today at 4 p.m. on this hot spring day! Backyard games, great food and beer: They are releasing their beer LuYu, brewed with Pekoe green tea, as well!

Novo Coffee (1600 Glenarm Pl)

Wynkoop Brewing is officially releasing Kurt’s Mile High Malt on Sunday, but as they paired with local roasters Novo to make this coffee infused Vienna lager, they are having a special pre-release party at their Glenarm location. Join them from 5-10 p.m. as they drink the only Kurt’s Mile High Malt available in town, sip some amazing coffee, and watch local baristas compete in a coffee art competition. They have specialty pint glasses made with Kurt’s original artwork on them, and will be offering $8 pint with keep-the-glass specials, $3 refill.

Historians Ale House (24 Broadway)

Craft Beer Alert! Left Hand Brewing Company - Week Sauce, Station 26 Brewing Co. - Centennial IPA, Lone Tree Brewing Company - Peach Pale Ale and Grist Brewing Company - Margarita Berliner Weisse battle it out in Round II bracket 1 of Historian’s Battle of the Breweries. Shotgun starts at 6:30 p.m. First brewer to blow their keg goes to the finals and just like last time we will be raffling off tons of swag from all the brewers. You don’t want to miss out!

Don’t miss Colorado’s marquee craft beer and culinary pairing event starting at 11 a.m. and join foodies who appreciate the nuances of expertly prepared combinations. BrüFrou, pronounced [broo-froo], will feature 40 Colorado craft breweries paired with unique chef creations from the best Front Range eateries.

Trinity Brewing (1466 Garden of the Gods Rd., Colorado Springs)

Trinity is hosting a Saison Farmhouse Rendezvous at noon with more than 30 different breweries showing off their funky farmhouse brews!

To celebrate the 4/20 release of Kurt’s Mile High Malt in cans (read about the beer here), Wynkoop Brewing is are having a Kurt Vonnegut themed brunch. Each menu item is based on a Kurt Vonnegut book and will come with a small glass of Kurt’s Mile High Malt. The brunch options will be available from 11-4 p.m.
