Happy CBC week, folks! Festivities almost seem never ending, but it’s good news to those of you not able to attend the actual conference! We’ve rounded up a few for you to check out this weekend. There definitely isn’t a shortage of things to do.

Friday, April 11

World of Beer Belmar (7260 W. Alaska Dr., Lakewood)

Strange Brewing Co. and Epic Brewing are taking over the taps with six beers form each brewery on top of the ‘Epically Strange’ collaboration brew, first released at Collaboration Fest last month. Brewers from both Epic and Strange will be in attendance to chat about the brews.

Post Brewing (105 W Emma St, Lafayette)

Post Brewing Co and Dogfish Head are teaming up for a three-course luncheon, Brewing with Friends. Beer pairings will be orchestrated by Dogfish Head Brewer Sam Calagione and Post Brewmaster Bryan Selders.

Falling Rock Tap House (1919 Blake St)

Missed “What the Funk?!” yesterday? That’s alright, you still have the chance to try 30 sours at Falling Rock starting at 5:30 p.m. Breweries featured include Allagash, Boulevard, Bruery, Cantillon, Elysian, Firestone Walker, Gueuze Tilquin, Lost Abbey, New Belgium, Odell, Russian River, Siren and Trois Dames.

Former Future Brewing (1290 S. Broadway)

The newest brewery down on South Broadway is starting its Coffee and Beer Firkin Mashup Series with a 7 p.m. tapping of ‘Where Scotland Meets Bolivia,’ a Scotch ale brewed with Corvus Coffee’s Bolivian ‘Canton Illimani.’

Denver Bicycle Cafe (1308 E 17th Ave.)

Starting at 6 p.m., “Funky River,” features three beers each from River North, Funkwerks and the Denver Bicycle Cafe as well as live bluegrass music.

Denver Beer Co. (1695 Platte St.)

Mmm, beer and cheese. A match made in craft beer heaven! Denver Beer Co. is partnering with Amy Combs from A Cheese Peddler for a guided, education based beer and cheese pairing starting at 7 p.m. in the DBC Barrel Room. Cheers CBC with a welcome beer then enjoy four additional 6oz pours paired with four cheeses and snacks in between.

Tooey’s Off Colfax (1521 Marion St.)

To celebrate the end of CBC, Ska Brewing and DC Brau (Washington, DC) present a finale party 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. with a live performance by the Dendrites and a special tapping of ‘Taster’s Choice,’ a collaboration Doppelbock lager with coffee.

Saturday, April 12

River North Brewery (2401 Blake St.)

The RiNo brewery is partnering with distributor CR Goodman for a day-long party starting at 1 p.m. Rare and barrel-aged kegs will be tapped all day and El Toro the Tot will be on site to serve burgers and tater tots.

The Kitchen Denver (1530 16th St. Mall)

It’s going to be a wild night with specialty tappings from Crooked StaveJester King (Austin, TX), and Brasserie Trois Dames (Sainte-Croix, Switzerland) paired with delicious fare from The Kitchen team. Event runs 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Walnut Room (3131 Walnut St.)

Join the Bike & Brew crew at the Walnut Room this Saturday from 12-4 p.m. for a sample of what you can expect at the Bike & Brew Fest. They will have beers from Santa Fe Brewing, La Cumbre & Oskar Blues on tap and giveaways and great prizes. Register to win a two-day Bike & Brew vacation in Santa Fe and dozens of other great prizes.

Sunday, April 13

Former Future Brewing (1290 S. Broadway)

A weeklong hangover is best cured with brunch. But, not just any brunch. Head to Former Future for the kick-off their weekly brunch with Tender Belly 11-3 p.m. Think bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, potatoes, fruit and meatless options paired with fresh brews from Former Future. Meat-eaters brunch costs $12, vegetarian costs $8.

Denver Beer Co. (1695 Platte St.)

Get set for round 3 of Beers & Spears, an all-day affair of pickle eating and beer drinking. Three Denver Beer Co. beers will be paired with three different pickles from The Real Dill as well as fried pickles from Big Country Bar B Que. There will also be a spicy pickle-eating contest.
