The first session of Angelshare is done! Angelshare is a 12-week program, broken up into 6 two-week sessions. Every two weeks, a different bar/restaurant will be paired with a different distillery. The bar has to make cocktails with the distillery’s products, and the sessions will feature a different theme.

So what were this author’s favorites? Well, they were all good, but two personal favorites: Envy of Sno White and Rickey Ricardo. These two cocktails took the spirit of the originals, but added an extra depth of flavors with the addition of a few extra ingredients. The cocktails that were most faithful to the classics included: Martinez Goes Downslope, Cloister and Brecking Bad.

Didn’t get a chance to try these? The next session, “Flips, Fizzes, and Nogs,” is currently underway, and runs until February 25.
