Fresh Taps: Oct. 30th-Nov. 5th

Welcome to Fresh Taps. Each week Shea collects the most promising lineup of new and returning beers hitting taprooms and tasting rooms all over the state.

Grist Brewing Tap takeovers, anniversaries, Halloween parties, and a grand opening (Grist Brewing) – this week has it all! And same goes for beer styles, with everything from more pumpkin beers to the start of more dark beers, you’ll find what you’re looking for in beer somewhere this week.

Shea’s Spotlight Tappings

Each week I’ll pick a few tappings that catch my eye, and taste buds.

Avery Taps Lowry Beer Garden It’s getting a bit colder outside, so you may want to go warm up at the Lowry Beer Garden with some big Avery brews as part of the Good vs. Evil Avery Tap Takeover. Running from Thursday through Sunday, the event will feature Angels and Demons series brews that will be sure to provide some warmth.

You like chocolate, right? And pumpkins? And beer…well, we already know you like beer. If you answered yes to these silly questions, consider heading west to Golden and trying Cannonball Creek’s Chocolate Pumpkin Porter being released on Halloween at 3PM. They’ll also be hosting a Jack O’ Lantern contest at 7PM and a costume contest from 8PM to 9PM.

Here’s the rest of the stellar fresh tappings across Colorado for the next week.
