Fresh Taps: Oct. 16th-22nd

Welcome to Fresh Taps. Each week Shea collects the most promising lineup of new and returning beers hitting taprooms and tasting rooms all over the state.

Arvada Beer Feeling down that GABF and Denver Beer Fest are over? Need something to fill that void? Although many places are taking a break, there are still plenty of stellar tappings going on the week after the Super Bowl of Beer, such as the start of Arvada Beer Co’s 2nd Anniversary week, High Hops Brewery’s 1st Anniversary, and a few tap takeovers along the front range.

Shea’s Spotlight Tappings

Each week I’ll pick a few tappings that catch my eye, and taste buds. This week I’ve got two variety tappings worth a visit.

Renegade Publik House Taps If you didn’t get enough of GABF and Denver Beer Fest, head on over to the Renegade Publik House in Denver this Saturday to taste some brews from GABF veterans Sun King, Shorts, and Dogfish Head. Each will have a tasty brew on tap (see below for details), plus Renegade will be releasing their Imperial Sunday Morning coffee strong ale.

But if you’re still in the GABF mood AND can’t get enough pumpkin beers, make a trek to TRiNiTY Brewing in Colorado Springs this Friday from 5-8:30PM for an all out blitz on pumpkiny goodness in a glass. They will be loading up all the taps with pumpkin brews including favorites such as Dogfish Head’s Punkin’ Ale, Dry Dock’s Imperial Pumpkin, New Belgium’s Pumpkick, and more.

Here’s the rest of the stellar fresh tappings across Colorado for the next week.
