Parry’s Pizzeria Pours Positive Progress

parrys pizza landon's wanna walk wheat Denver drinks a lot of beer. Duh. Just imagine if a small donation was made to a great cause for every beer sold and drank in the duration of a year? That is a lot of beer around these parts, which means it could be a lot of donations as well.

We already love Parry’s Pizzeria for being a relentless supporter of Denver Off the Wagon (see that thing over in the sidebar? Yeah, that’s love.) and we love them even more for hosing a donation program through their restaurants to support St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Refreshment with a Cause will donate 25 cents for every pint of Landon’s Wanna Walk Wheat that is sold between October 1 of 2013 until October of 2014.

Landon’s Wanna Walk Wheat was brewed specifically for Parry’s by Lone Tree Brewing in, well, Lone Tree Colorado.  The beer is an unfiltered wheat ale brightened by subtle hop additions and a delicate citrus aroma. It has a medium body with a lively carbonation finishing with a hint of lemon citrus. Landon’s can be found on tap at all Parry’s locations (listed below)

Proceeds will go towards St. Jude’s continued mission of changing the way the world threats childhood cancers and life-threatening illnesses. At St. Jude’s, no family ever pays for treatment their child receives and through the research conducted, the lives of thousands of other children have been saved.

You now have a year to stop in at Parry’s, eat delicious pizza, and order a beer to support a great cause. Let’s face it, you’ve been meaning to try it out anyway!
