I’m hungry.
I wasn’t before I started writing this article. But then I found the pictures you’ll see below. And now I’m hungry. And I won’t be satisfied until this Sunday at 3pm when I get to the Tattered Cover and start eating.
For the past two years, Emily Hutto has been researching her way through Colorado. She’s tried just about every beer in the state, or close to it. And, of course, there’s some food that goes along with a state-wide bender.
With the help of Emily Heller, an incredible photographer, and a bunch of booze-soaked friends and late nights on couches, Emily is ready to release her works to the world in the form of Colorado’s Top Brewers. The 220 page book, full of food and beer porn, recipes, stories, calendars, and more, officially hit shelves yesterday.
On Sunday, October 6, from 3-5pm, you can enjoy the book and the goods that make it so great. The book release party is not only a chance to talk with Emily and a bunch of brewers and chefs; you can also try the pairings!
The event is limited to ensure everyone gets to try the pairings. Fewer people means more conversation with brewers, chefs, and the Emilys. Tickets are on sale here: http://events.imbibedenver.com/products/colorados-top-brewers-release-party
Here are a few pictures of food from the book that will be available at the party on Sunday. I apologize in advance for your forthcoming hunger issues.
Note: All images are by Emily Heller and are from Colorado’s Top Brewers. The pairings at the event on Sunday are subject to change, and might look slightly different than the professional photography in the book.
