It’s that time of year again! The Denver County Fair is this weekend with at least one Wagon writer on the judging panel for the beer competition (Saturday is the Denver County Fair Microbrew Fest). Put on your overalls and pig out on lots of food and drink!

This annual event celebrates the creativity and personality of Denver, with events, exhibitors, blue ribbon competitions and more! Denver County Fair honors the fine traditions and values of America’s county fairs, which have been enjoyed by millions of people for over 100 years.
Arvada Second Saturday Street Festival
Olde Town Arvada, Downtown
Historic Olde Town Arvada will build on last year’s successful summer events as they again invite the community to celebrate in Olde Town at their 2nd Saturday Street Festivals! They’re expanding the event times for 2013, and have booked three top-notch Colorado bands to headline the festivals- Chris Daniels and the Kings, The Wendy Woo Band, and The Indulgers! In addition to live music, they will feature arts/crafts booths, food booths, kids activities, and beer/wine sales. Admission is free and Grandview Avenue will be closed from Olde Wadsworth through Vance Street to auto traffic, ensuring a fun and safe atmosphere.
Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival
From the opening event Manhattans in the Mountains, to the new Vino Viaggio on Beaver Creek Mountain, to the much anticipated Walk-around Grand Tasting finale, featuring the best of all we have to offer; you won’t want to miss a drop of this festival.
The world’s best guitarists come together for the 9th annual festival, featuring free guitar workshops, free live music, ArtGuitar silent auction and kids’ music activities. Past performances include Tommy Emmanuel, Joe Satriani, Dickey Betts, Buddy Guy, Marty Stuart and Jimmie Vaughan.

26th Annual AIDS Walk Colorado
