Oh hey, it’s Jasmin again. Did you miss me?
Now that everyone is (almost) recovered from an epic 4th of July weekend, it’s time to keep the good summer vibes rolling. One way you can easily do that, if you haven’t already, is get yourself a Denver Passport. In fact, you should probably go ahead and get one today. Our Mutual Friend Malt & Brew will host a pop-up shop* in their parking lot at around 5 p.m. this evening!
*’Pop-up shop’ is hip for a bunch of stores setting up shop for a night. Live music, food trucks, good beer. No brainer, right?
After having a great Friday night, you will probably contemplate celebrating Breckenridge Brewery‘s 23rd Anniversary Hootenanny on Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., too. It’s only $23 for a fantastically long day of beer, BBQ, and a rad block party at their Kalamath location. Go snag your tickets now and stay hydrated (beer is great for that).
Since I live the life of working at a local pizza & tap house joint, my weekends are usually filled with long nights slinging beer and food. HOWEVER, I definitely plan on being down on South Broadway for Illegal Pete’s new location Grand Opening shindig on Sunday at 7 p.m. to catch some sweet tunes from The Parlour Pickers and enjoy some margaritas!
The official opening is actually on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and there will be some tequila tastings from Dulce Vida along with some more tunes and fun times. Hope to see you there!
