Post has been edited to include New Belgium’s first TV commercial from 2005, “Tinkerer”

You may have noticed something familiar as you settled up to watch the series finale of The Office last night or while you were catching up on The Morning After on Hulu today – New Belgium Brewing has a series of 15 second TV commercials showcasing their flagship brand, Fat Tire Amber Ale.

These spots come at a good time as the brewery is well on it’s way to opening up its huge facility in Ashville, NC and establishing a more national footprint. They also seem to have the familiar style that not only surrounds a lot of today’s beer commercials, but the tongue-in-cheek-ness that we saw out of Breckenridge Brewery’s parody ad spots at the end of last year.

Here’s the clips, let us know what you think in the comments below.

Of course, don’t forget this gem from the archives – the 2005 commercial called “Tinkerer” with the original brand, “Follow Your Folly.”

Those are all NB peeps, not actors! Way to go. Plus there is a very quick glimpse of the Wood Cellar. Want a La Folie right now.

Wow! Those are pretty awesome commercials and shorts! Great to know that New Belgium uses thier own folks as opposed to using actors for this. They make such great beer and are an even better business role model! Cheers to New Belgium for pairing well with people, like me!
