DotW Birthday: Dubbel Entendre Release at Denver Beer Co
4:30pm – 12am
Denver Beer Co
This beer used all Belgian malts such as a Caramel Munich, a Caramel Vienne and a small amount of Special B. The beer is a rich amber copper color with dark fruits in the aroma and a balanced malty body. The hops we used were German Northern Brewer which will balance out the sweetness of the “three tons” of Belgian Candy sugar and a set the brew to bubble with an Abby Yeast.
Earlier this week we asked you to help name this beer and you delivered some awesome names. Drumroll please. The name of our second birthday beer is Dubbel Entendre.

Bristol Brewing (Colorado Springs)
We are happy to host the 9th Annual Firkin Rendezvous, a fundraiser for the Colorado Brewers Guild. 25 Colorado breweries will share with us their cask conditioned ales of goodness.
Cask conditioning of ales is a traditional British style of brewing that originated centuries ago when publicans lived above their pubs and made a life’s work out of tending their beers. Cask ales are fermented, dry-hopped, conditioned and served in a single cask, the “firkin” being the British cask size most commonly used.
Tickets go on sale Monday, January 14th and can be purchased in the Bristol tasting room (1647 S. Tejon) or by calling 719-633-2555.
$50 VIP admission, entrance at 1pm
$35 General admission, entrance at 2pm
