Stout Month

Vine Street, Mountain Sun, Southern Sun

It’s stout month! All month long, the Mountain Sun Family (Vine Street in Denver) taps their own and guest stouts, constantly rotating taps. Go in every night for a different treat!

Pabst Pond Hockey Tournament

There is absolutely nothing like the sound of hockey sticks clashing against each other, pucks hitting the wooden boards, skates carving through the ice, and the smell of woodsmoke in the cold mountain air. If you grew up playing hockey outdoors, those senses likely bring back some great memories. We miss those memories, that is why we bring you the Pabst Colorado Pond Hockey Tournament. Hockey in its root form. Its in our hearts…

We keep this tournament limited in size for one reason. We want to keep it the best tournament in North America! Our goal is for each player to have the best possible experience at a non-crowded, energetic, and benefit filled event. A tournament where you can hopefully get to know others, rekindle old friendships, and play in a stress free atmosphere with great customer service. Please be sure to find us at the tournament, say hi, and stay in touch into the future!

River North First Anniversary Party

River North Brewing

[source: Fermentedly Challenged]

As River North Brewery rapidly approaches one year of operation, Head Brewer Matt
Hess has been harboring a dark secret, a concoction unlike any other the brewery has produced to date. Clocking in at 12.5% ABV, the River North 1st Anniversary Imperial Stout is the brewery’s highest-gravity offering thus far. It will release Saturday, February 16th at 1pm to kick off the brewery’s first-anniversary party, when the brewery will open its barrel garden to the public. Both draft pours and bombers-to-go will be available. This celebration represents the culmination of a productive first year for River North. Including the anniversary beer, the brewery released nine unique “mainline” ales this past year, in addition to seven barrel-aged varieties of those brews. Since acquiring its first two whiskey barrels in March, the barrel program has grown to include more than 30 whiskey, wine and rum barrels of varying brands.
