Meet The Dictators at Avery’s Pop-Up Event

On Wednesday, three dictators are set to convene in Colorado. No, we are not talking about the likes of Putin, Karzai, or Kim Jong-Il, but The Maharaja, The Czar, and The Kaiser.

For one night only, Avery Brewing Company will simultaneously release all three beers from their Dictator line-up at brewpubs not only in Colorado, but also in Dallas and San Diego during their Dictators Unite! event on January 16, 7 – 9 p.m. Scroll down to find where you can join “this summit of greatness” in Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, or Vail.

Social media geeks rejoice: During the event, post a photo to Instagram with hashtag #3dicts, and Avery will post to it their webpage. The best photo, which they say will be judged completely on subjective measures, will score an Avery drinking gear kit. Out of town or don’t want to venture into the frigid cold? Raise your glass at 8 p.m. MST, snap a photo and post to Instagram with the same hashtag – you’ll totally feel like you mingled with the dictators.

About Sarah Haughey

Editor, Denver off the Wagon. Sarah is a native of the "Napa Valley of beer," but her beer-drinking roots stretch all the way back to the Emerald Isle where Haughey (Haw-hee) is famous. Sure, our name may have got it's rap from the corrupt prime minister, but we like to think it stands strong due to our long-standing ability to pound a few too many pints. After stints on the East Coast and in San Francisco, Sarah came running back to Denver where her full-time job is exploring all the city's new craft breweries one sip at a time. Follow me @sarahhaughey4 to see where I'm grabbing a beer or for news about local breweries. Like to cook? Me too, check out:
