Weekend off the Wagon – November 30 – December 2
Weekend off the Wagon in your inbox, every Friday
It’s already December. I know, I know, cliche small talk about how fast time moves and the weather and all that. But, the world ends this month, so let’s focus on that. We’ll be throwing a party to celebrate the end of days. Stay tuned for that.
This weekend, with mere weeks till the Mayans need to go buy a new calendar, you have a bevy of options to prep your liver. There’s a fundraiser tonight to help with Hurricane Sandy relief, which should make you feel a little better about yourself before you go and run in the Santa Speedo Dash.
No stomach for speedos? Wynkoop’s annual Parade of Darks is Saturday as well, offering some amazing dark beers to warm you up before the Parade of Lights.
Sunday, head over to your favorite sports bar to catch the Broncos game. Bloody Marys and football. Where’s your favorite place to watch the game?
There are a few tickets left for the Denver Bacon & Beer Fest on December 9th. December 11th, get in the holiday spirit with some beer and Vacation. Christmas Vacation. At the Mayan. Presented by Imbibe Denver. Festivus is sold out, but there are probably some tickets floating around, and of course, stay tuned for a contest. And mark your calendar for Thursday, December 20th, for an end of the world party.
