Circling Up The Wagons – Week in review 11/18 – 11/24

parade of darks denver wynkoop 2012 Lightnin’ Ivories! Did anyone get the license plate on that truck?

It’s been a heckuva week here at the Wagon, and several national holidays based around free-based consumption sure doesn’t help.

We had several scoops from our fervent contributors about what you can bring to the Thanksgiving table, including wine and cocktails. Definitely worth bookmarking as we sink deeper into the holiday season. Check back for more in the coming weeks!

If you were able to get up the next morning without too much of a headache, we had quite a few venture out to participate in BlackOut Friday (opposed to the dreaded retailing of Black Friday, we’re hoping it becomes a thing).

Even more Denver Wagoneers ventured out on Small Business Saturday to support their favorite breweries. Did you happen to pick up on any hot and hoppy deals?

Alas, the holiday weekend is just about up. Fortunately, we’ll have some awesome stuff coming up to get you through the work week. Including:

-Kelly T powers through another week of sobriety. Will she make it to December 1? And if she does, then what?

– Events are happening all over town this next month. We’re covering them and letting you know where to be.

The Parade of Darks is next Saturday at Wynkoop. Tickets are on sale now, everything is for a good cause.

Elsewhere on the net:

Caught wind that Funkwerk’s Brewery in Fort Collins is expanding their sudsy footprint by singing with a distributor. Info and video on (5 minutes).

Lagunitas might have run into some infringement this week when another brewery – Knee Deep – may or may not have replicated their label concept on their IPA bottle.
