Denver off the Wagon

Nights are long, days are cold, winter is nigh; it’s time to put away the fizzy, yellow beers and opt for something a bit heavier. Put down the Pilsner and pick up a porter because you will need a dark beer to warm your core and numb the pain of your relentless relatives this holiday season. Kick-off dark beer season at Wynkoop Brewing Company’s Parade of Darks, a celebration of all beers amber-colored and darker.

Prepare your palates for chocolate, coffee, dark fruit, toffee, caramel, and other rich flavors but also prepare your conscious for a major boost as 100% of the event’s ticket sales benefit Metro CareRing, a local food pantry.  There is also a silent auction that will raise even more money for the charity and provide you the opportunity to go home with some sweet schwag.

Last year, the Parade featured approximately 70 beers, raised $14,000, and contributions are expected to be even greater this year. Advanced tickets can be purchased at ticketalternative.com for $35 until 5pm on November 30^th. If available, tickets may also be purchased on the day of the event at the door for $45. The Parade will be held on Saturday, December 1^st and will last from 1-4pm.
