First Bite Boulder
First Bite Boulder is an annual event highlighting Boulder’s dining scene. For one full week, more than 40 of Boulder’s top restaurants will offer a special three course $26 prix fixe dinner menu to the community.
The week celebrates Boulder’s exceptional dining community and will help bring our well-deserved reputation into the national spotlight. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the establishments that make Boulder the culinary destination it is.
Kong Off 2
1Up
The Kong Off 2 will take place on November 16th, 17th and 18th 2012. The event will be held at “The 1up” in the LoDo district of Denver, Colorado. The 1up is an arcade/bar concept that ha 46 vintage arcade games, 15 Pinball Machines and 3 lanes of Skee-Ball.
The 1up is located ½ a block from the Home Plate entrance of Coors Filed, home of the Colorado Rockies.
The event will be hosted by Richie Knucklez (Space Invaders and Pole Position World Record Holder).
This event will be refereed by Walter Day (Founder of Twin Galaxies and Official Arcade Scorekeeper).
The Kong Off 2features the world’s best Donkey Kong players going head to head for the title of “Best In The World”. Competition will take place over two days (Saturday and Sunday).
To qualify for a “Dedicated Machine” you must have a verified score of 1 million points or better.

Alliteration leads to some fun weekly events. Firkin Fridays are a great way to wind down the week and enjoy a beer of different flavor. If you missed this last year, here is your chance! We’ll be partnering with Harvest Food Truck to bring you a three course sit down brunch, featuring a side by side pairing of our original bourbon breakfast stout (aged over a year) with our newest batch aged in Breckenridge Bourbon barrels!
The High Country Breakfast Stout is an imperial oatmeal stout made with coffee, chocolate and Kentucky aged bourbon, aged to perfection!

Littlest Big Beer Fest

This month’s Littlest Big Beer Fest will feature the beers of Fifty Fifty Brewing Company of Truckee, California. Fifty Fifty is bringing along 5 different hard to get beers including: Donner Party Porter (Colonial American version), Totality Imperial Stout (9.5% ABV), Rockslide IPA (70 IBUs), RYEPA (West Coast Style IPA) and Eclipse, a strong ale aged in oak bourbon barrels. These brews tend to be higher in ABV than most so bring along a designated driver.
