2012 Starz Denver Film Festival
This November…VOTE FILM! Experience the region’s largest celebration of cinema when the Denver Film Society lights up the city with screenings of hundreds of new films from around the globe – everything from the hottest new indies, documentaries and foreign films to sizzling Red Carpet events featuring the season’s most buzz-worthy films, directors and actors! Colorado Ski and Snowboard Expo

Great deals on skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, clothing, and accessories will be served up at the 21st ANNUAL COLORADO SKI & SNOWBOARD EXPO returning November 2-4, 2012 to the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. The show is the undisputed king of the Colorado retail ski scene and is the single largest ski and snowboard sale in the state with 20,000 square feet of gear with prices slashed from 40-75 percent off last season’s equipment. To make shopping for gear, season passes, and Expo-only lodging deals and packages offered by Colorado’s 26 resorts even more fun, new attractions have joined the high energy event including the 2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Brew Fest.

Rocky Mountain Brew Fest at the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Expo
Colorado Convention Center
Colorado skiers and riders are passionate about their powder, their resorts and their favorite trails. Many of them are equally passionate about their favorite beers, brews and ales that they enjoy apres ski. So, at this year’s 21st Annual Colorado Ski & Snowboard Expo, the second annual, Rocky Mountain Brew Fest returns. For an additional $12 ($15 at the door) and with an expo ticket, Expo visitors can sample dozens of handcrafted beers and ales during one of four 3-hour tasting sessions throughout the weekend. Admission includes three beer samples, plus one full beer. The brew with the most full beers poured will be declared the People’s Choice Winner for this year’s Brew Fest. Additional sampling tickets will also be available for purchase: 3 ticket/$5; 7 tix/$10; 15 tix/$20.

You must be over 21 and have a valid ID to purchase tickets to the BREW FEST.

7th Annual Meanest Chili Cook-Off

Join us Sunday, November 4th at The Oriental Theater to vote for the meanest chili in town, cheer for the Broncos as they take on the Bengals and support The Colorado Fire Relief Fund 2012.
The fund was established by the Governor’s Office which has partnered with The Denver Foundation and several other community foundations across Colorado to develop The Colorado Fire Relief Fund 2012. This fund is held at The Denver Foundation and is collecting major gifts ($1,000 or more). The fund will make distributions to address the intermediate-term needs that result from the wildfires. The Hatch Foundation is raising money for this fund through their own unique event and will donate a portion of the proceeds to this fund.
