Denver bartenders to square off at Beer vs. Wine: Chocolate Edition
Thursday, Nov 1, 2012 at 4:21 pm by LeVar Battle
Join us on Tuesday, November 13th at 6:30pm when we find out just who reigns supreme: Grapes or Hops? It’ll be a battle of the titans when we pit beer, Ryan Conklin (Euclid Hall), and wine, Kevin Burke (Colt & Gray), against one another to find out which alcohol truly pairs better with chocolates.
Highland Tap & Burger will set the stage for this battle royale and chocolates will be arriving from local chocolatiers, including Ziva Chocolates, Lioni Chocolate, The Pomm, Hi*Rise, and Sweet Action Ice Cream. Jensen Cummings of Row 14 will be serving up savory courses featuring two of the aforementioned chocolatiers’ treats.
Denver Off the Wagon has partnered up with Burning Through Pages to make this event possible. Burning Through Pages is a non-profit organization based out of Denver dedicated to the advocacy of reading and writing for our city’s youth.
Tickets are now on sale for $35 and proceeds will benefit Burning Through Pages.
Doors will open at 6pm and the dinner will start at 6:30pm. There will be limited seating, so don’t waste time securing your spot. Buy your tickets now!
