Crooked Stave Cellar Club Memberships On Sale Monday, October 22

If you were lucky enough to join Crooked Stave’s Cellar Club this past year, stop reading this post and go renew your membership.

Alright, now that we’ve got that out of the way.

Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project began their Cellar Reserve Club in 2012. At that time, they didn’t even have a tap room. Now, not only do they have a new tap room at 46th and Navajo, they have also added some new hardware to it: a GABF Silver that they took home last weekend for their Sentience Bourbon Quadrupel.

The Cellar Reserve Club gains you early (and discounted!) access to Crooked Stave’s standard releases, but the real treat lies in the special club only releases. Perhaps you heard about Persica last year? Yep, club only release (unless you were lucky enough to snag a sample at Avery Sour Fest or GABF). Cellar Reserve beers are released once a month, but you can use your membership is also good in the tap room for 15% off any time. Some of the highlights from the 2013 Cellar Reserve list include:

  • Blackberry L’Brett d’Or
  • Persica
  • Raspberry Dark Origins
  • Surette Reserva Cognac Barrel
  • Surette Reserva Bourbon Barrel
  • Nightmare on Brett (aged in a Grand Cru barrel)

Memberships are priced at $300. Details and the all important purchase button can be found at

About John Mogos

John brews beer (very unprofessionally) and keeps a very well stocked wine cellar. He's been to Belgium and Napa, but he is not pretentious, at least he likes to think so.
