Denver Beer Fest is upon us. The week long event, headlined by some little thing called the Great American Beer Fest, is here. I don’t have the words. Let’s do this.
Beyond the beer fest, this weekend holds some interesting events in store. Check out the Breckenridge Craft Spirits Festival, going all weekend long. The Cultivate Festival in City Park should be a blast, and the Zombie Dash will be.. well, zombies.
Tickets are still available for the Wagon/Avery Pucker Up Poker Run on October 12th. Check it out.
Know about something that we missed? Have an event coming up? Send it our way: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Alliteration leads to some fun weekly events. Firkin Fridays are a great way to wind down the week and enjoy a beer of different flavor. Many breweries put some of their normal and not-so-normal offerings in a cask and serve it to you right off the engine. The following breweries and bars tend to have something to offer on Fridays:

But the dude has some seriously fine Cabernet Sauvignon barrels that he shared with us to help create this wondrous sour ale. Our lucky #13 in this series.
