Weekend off the Wagon in your inbox, every Friday

I love wearing a hoodie while drinking out on an empty patio because everyone is too cold to handle the temperature dropping below 70. This is my weekend.

Today is a First Friday, so if you’re looking to wander the streets this evening, check out the various Art Walks. If that’s not your style, Brew at the Zoo is tonight. Remember, you have to buy tickets ahead of time.

Tour de Fat is tomorrow. If you’ve been, you need no explanation. If you haven’t, no explanation can do it justice. Just go. Avery is also throwing their first annual IPA Fest. They do Strong Ales and Sours so well, this one is sure to rock.

Oh, and it’s football season. Where are you watching the game on Sunday?

See below for a detailed list for weekend events. Check out our full calendar to plan your events well into the future.

Firkin Friday

Various Breweries

Alliteration leads to some fun weekly events. Firkin Fridays are a great way to wind down the week and enjoy a beer of different flavor. Many breweries put some of their normal and not-so-normal offerings in a cask and serve it to you right off the engine. The following breweries and bars tend to have something to offer on Fridays:

Great Divide – A very special Colorado wet-hopped pale ale firkin this week that they are calling Sticky Icky. It will tap around 4pm and was hopped with fresh, wet, whole cone Colorado hops. 10oz pours only.
Dry Dock – Toasted Coconut Porter
Hops & Pie – A bunch of Oskar Blues options
Wynkoop
