Bohemian Nights at New West Fest
Downtown Fort Collins
In its eighth year, Bohemian Nights® showcases more than 90 emerging and established Colorado bands performing across six stages in Historic Downtown Fort Collins August 10-12, 2012. This free community music festival brings the best Colorado bands to Fort Collins. In addition to the packed Colorado lineup, three internationally renowned headliners anchor the main stage performances. With a wide variety of genres to choose from, there is something for everyone at Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest!
The annual festival is produced in collaboration with the Downtown Fort Collins Business Association as a part of the NewWestFest celebration.

This annual event celebrates the creativity and personality of Denver, with events, exhibitors, blue ribbon competitions and more!
Denver County Fair honors the fine traditions and values of America’s county fairs, which have been enjoyed by millions of people for over 100 years.
But, we are NEW. Although land was bought for a Denver Fair in the 1800s, that plan was interrupted by a little thing called the “Civil War” and no fair was ever launched. (That land is now City Park, by the way.) Somehow, the idea never came to fruition until NOW – in the 21st century, when Denver is a modern, bustling metropolis, forging a reputation as “the new creative capital.”
So as we enter into our second year, expect us to do things differently than the fairs that were established last century, or the century before. We are new, we are urban and we are still pioneers!

This great annual event in Winter Park offers brews, views and great live music. Unlimited beer tasting from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. with 25 micro brewers on hand sampling their classic hoppy beverages and a few new ones.

On August 11, the 4th Annual Cherry Creek North Food & Wine will take place on the beautiful new Fillmore Plaza and will feature 23 Cherry Creek North food & beverage establishments, as well as wines, spirits, and the brews of the 5280 Denver’s Magazine popular “6 Pack” promotion. The restaurant line-up has doubled this year and spans multiple cuisines such as Indian, Japanese, Mexican, and Italian. Tickets are on sale now for only $50 ($20 tax deductible), which includes unlimited food, beverages, and live music from the band ATOMGA. Last year’s event was a sell-out and organizers expect another sold out year. Advance tickets are strongly recommended.

Viva Streets is back this summer, celebrating our City streets’ potential to get people moving, to bring neighbors together, and to strengthen Colorado’s healthy, active culture. On August 12, 2012, LiveWell Colorado and BikeDenver will transform 23rd Avenue between City Park and Stapleton into a car-free parkway for all Denverites to enjoy. The streets will be closed to cars and will come alive with walkers, bikers, runners, strollers, hoola-hoopers, dancers, paraders, musicians, healthy food purveyors and anyone wanting to play in the streets for the day.
