Firkin Friday
Various Breweries
Alliteration leads to some fun weekly events. Firkin Fridays are a great way to wind down the week and enjoy a beer of a different flavor. Many breweries put some of their normal and not-so-normal offerings in a cask and serve it to you right off the engine. The following breweries and bars tend to have something to offer on Fridays:

Mile High Mayhem Scooter Rally is an annual gathering of predominately vintage Italian, Spanish and Indian motor scooters. Many are locals, but more and more have been coming from out of state. Each year Mayhem is celebrated over four days of riding and parties. This is the 15th anniversary, and many of the events will be focus around Colfax Ave (aka 15th), at such venues as the historical Bluebird Theater and the infamous Casa Bonita. There will be rides, contests, awards, and raffle prizes. Mile High Mayhem 15 is July 26th-29th.
Salt on the Rim

Denver Botanic Gardens
The Kempe Foundation Alliance’s annual Salt on the Rim fundraiser benefits The Kempe Foundation and Kempe Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect. This summer affair promises to be the garden party of the season with free-flowing margaritas, food skillfully prepared by some of Denver’s most regarded chefs!
Culinary Date Night

The Summer Brew Fest at Mile High Station will celebrate craft beverages from around Colorado and beyond and features; live local music, food, and other vendors. This event benefits Swallow Hill Music Association.

Denver Zoo
Come shake your tail feathers with Denver’s swinging singles. Denver Zoo is offering an evening to escape the usual bar crowd and mingle with some wild things. Sip exotic cocktails while we set the mood for some mating games and wild tours throughout the zoo. Singles will enjoy animal encounters and a menu of decadent appetizers sure to please every palate.
Tickets include after-hours zoo admission, appetizers, beer and wine, interactive animal encounters and a chance to meet some of Denver’s finest with hopes of finding some animal attraction.

Beers Made By Walking

This year Strange Brewing Company is participating in the Beers Made by Walking program started by Focus on the Beer. We will hike thru Eldorado Canyon and learn about the edible flora along the way. After the hike, Harry and Tim will develop a beer inspired by the hike and incorporating some of the plants we learn about. Hike will be open to the first 20 people to sign up at the brewery.
