Giveaway: 2 Tickets to Yelp’s Secret Supper Club
One of the many great reasons to love the Denver food and beverage scene is the surprise event that pops up along the way, and Yelp’s Secret Supper Club is just one of those events. Started in January 2012 as epicurean pursuit, the Yelp-Denver team aimed to bring “adventurous stomachs” together for bread-breaking, drinking, and merriment.
Each month a different, local eatery is chosen offering up a 3-course menu and complimentary drink. The twist? Yelp doesn’t disclose the next dining locale to their Yelp members until the day before the dinner. That’s right, Yelp members secure a seat for $25 and follow clues, including tidbits about the restaurant and a preview of the menu to be served, leading up to the event in hopes of figuring out where their next Denver culinary experience will be held.
In case you missed it, Yelp’s Secret Supper Club is a Yelp specific event. (You simply have to sign up to become a member for participation in future events.) However, this month they’ve decided to show Denver Off the Wagon some love and give away two seats to one of our loyal readers. As someone who has been lucky enough to partake in the Yelp Secret Supper Club, I can testify that this will be a humdinger of a dinner.
To my delight, Canyon Wind Cellars (a Colorado winery) will be supplying the wine for this event.
