All Hopped Up for Water: International Food & Beer Pairing Dinner

This Thursday, March 22, is World Water Day! And lucky for Coloradans, the fantastic organization, Water for People, is based right out of Denver. Why are they so significant? Their goals and the facts say it all:

Water For People helps people in developing countries improve quality of life by supporting the development of locally sustainable drinking water resources, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education programs.

Around the world, 783 million people do not have access to safe drinking water and 2.5 billion are without adequate sanitation facilities. Every day, nearly 6,000 people who share our planet die from water-related illnesses, and the vast majority are children.

How can you get involved immediately? Get “All Hopped Up for Water” to celebrate World Water Day this Thursday evening at Freshcraft (1530 Blake Street, Denver). A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Water for People to aid in ending water poverty. Along with Water for People, Freshcraft is teaming up with Avery Brewing Co., Boulevard Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewing Co. & Victory Brewing Co. The menu for the evening is below and tickets are available here ($45 per person, 21+).
