Oskar Blues Gets A New Canning Line

Everyone loves new toys. Oskar Blues, who pioneered the canned craft beer movement, put in a new and improved canning line last Friday. I stopped by to check it out, because machines are cool. The crew was tweaking gears, dials, and calibrating stuff. I was drinking beer and eating peanuts (the hot ones). Apparently the new system will double the amount of beer canned in the same amount of time. Watching them can the first few tall boys of Deviant Dale’s off the line, I asked  the guys, “now do I have to drink my beer twice as fast?” Their response, “either that or we need to find twice as many people to sell it to.” Awesome. Congrats to OB on the upgrade.
