Avery Announces No.’s 10 & 11 In Barrel-Aged Series
The next two beers in Avery Brewing Co’s famed barrel-aged series (No. 10 and 11) have been announced and they share a common theme – wine. Both brews are aged in wine barrels and are brewed with grape must. Now for those of you who don’t know what grape must is, it’s basically freshly pressed grape juice that includes the skins, seeds, and stems. As of now, no release date has been set but we’ll keep you posted as we have more info.
From the label:
No. 10: A lovely amalgamation, awash with the delicate expressions and subtle nuances of soft malt, ripe Muscat Blanc grapes, and savory Brett. Aged for 14 months in Chardonnay barrels.
From the label:
Ah, the wonders of nature! Wild yeast spontaneously flourishing upon the freshly harvested Cabernet Sauvignon grape skins begat this sanguine and abstruse beauty. Aged for 14 months in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels.
Which one are you looking forward to the most?
