CAUTION: Brewing Co. Invites You to Their Place for ThanksBeering

This Saturday, November 26th, CAUTION: Brewing Co. is hosting a Thanksgiving event at the brewery.  From 2pm – 9pm you’ll be able to sample their beer, which has just started popping up all over town (but I’ll get into that in a minute).  Here’s some info from their website:

We’re releasing our Thanksgiving brew – Cranberry Ammo Dunkelweizen, a 5.5% ABV holiday  spiced cranberry dunkelweizen that will remind you of Thanksgiving dinner.

We also will have more of our Halloween treat on tap – Toaster Bat Black. If you haven’t tried this 9% ABV smoked imperial robust porter, you’re missing out!

CAUTION: Brewing Co. is also excited to report that their brews are now available at Wynkoop Brewing Co. and The Kitchen.  CAUTION’s first beer to be available to the public was Lao Wang Lager, which is served exclusively at Lao Wang Noodle House, Danny’s (CAUTION’s Head Brewer) parent’s restaurant.  About 6 weeks ago, The Kitchen put their Wild Blonde Ale on tap and Honey Matrimony Brown Ale has just become available at Wynkoop this past week.  Here’s how they describe these three special brews:

Lao Wang Lager

Our flagship beer is something truly unique. This “Spiced Asian Lager” could only be placed within “specialty” categories in official contests. Nevertheless, this did not stop our delicious lager to place both “1st Place” and “People’s Choice” at the 2011 Jefferson County Brew Fest.  Crisp, clean, yet extremely complex, Lao Wang Lager is created with a blend of secret Asian spices made famous by food from Lao Wang Noodle House in Denver. Golden straw in color, light malt flavor and gentle hop additions perfectly balances the subtle Asian spices. Currently, the restaurant is the exclusive account for this beer. Stop by Lao Wang Noodle House for the most unique beer/food pairing you’ll ever experience!

Honey Matrimony Brown Ale

Honey Matrimony is made with wildflower honey from Clark’s Honey Farm in Evans, Colorado, and base malts from Colorado Malting Company in Alamosa. By starting with a well balanced American brown ale, our proprietary techniques allows the delicate aroma and flavors of honey to come through perfectly. So raise your glass and give a toast to the perfect marriage of ingredients from the best place on earth.

Wild Blonde Ale

Cute and cuddly, light and bubbly…but what’s in a name? A whole lot, in this case! This dish of a beer contains 8% organic Minnesota lake grown wild rice that lends a smooth finish and mounds of drinkability to this blonde ale. As light but complex as any blonde, this beer will make you order your first one for the name and then more thereafter for the taste.

So get out and try some awesome beers from one of Denver’s newest breweries!
