Row 14 & Il Mondo Vecchio Disassembly Dinner – October 26

I scanned the email in my inbox, and this stood out:

What the hell? I’ll be there.

Turns out it’s a night of pork at Row 14. Executive Chef (and Wagon writer) Jensen Cummings is teaming up with Il Mondo Vecchio‘s Mark DeNittis for some serious pig eating.

The Disassembly Dinner is a five-course dinner, each course focusing on a different cut of the hog, and paired with an adult beverage. Here’s the lineup:

Head: Headcheese Potstickers/ scallion, ancho chile oil, togarashi mustard butter

Shoulder: Braised Shoulder Ramen/ housemade sriracha, pickled carrots, braised fennel

Belly: Pork Belly Confit/ roasted beets, fried kale, parsnip vanilla puree

Loin: Smoked Loin/ olive oil polenta, red kuri squash chips, roasted garlic gremolata

Dessert: Pig Trotter Bread Pudding/ bacon brittle, fried basil, raspberry ginger gelato
