Drink yourself fit: The Great Denver Beer Run

There are new stories every day about the health benefits of beer. Science pretty much proves that beer makes you live 153 years, helps you jump small obstacles / children, and see hours of the night once relegated to your college years. But that’s just science, and that’s all passive benefits. It’s time to take action, and take your health into your hands!

With that, we humbly present to you The Great Denver Beer Run: a 10 mile run that stops at 6 breweries. Tomorrow (Saturday, 10/22), the run starts (12:30pm) and ends (6ish) at Highland Tap and Burger (2219 West 32nd Avenue). In the middle, you’ll stop at the following tap rooms:

Strange Brewing Company
Breckenridge Brewery
Renegade Brewing Company
Great Divide Brewing Company
Wynkoop Brewing Company
Denver Beer Company

The run is free, the beers are not, and please bring your ID!

This sounds so awesome! Is it a one time thing or will it be happening on a more regular basis?

  This is my third time doing this or maybe the fourth and I think there is the hope of making it even more official and raising money for a good cause. Thoughts include donate as much money as you spend on beer, registration fee with percentage going to charity, etc. Come Saturday and bring good ideas and connections.
