Weekend off the Wagon: October 14 – October 16

Hops, tanks, blue skies, and Great Divide. This is your weekend.

It’s going to be a gorgeous weekend for Colorado weather.  The more you can stay outside and soak up your vitamin D, the happier your drinking heart will be.  Good thing there are plenty of outdoor activities this weekend.  Just mind the #occupyDenver riot police.  Here’s a few ideas for your weekend:

Track 1: The Beer Scene

Friday: Hit up the Great Divide (awesomn) Autumn Party!  I love wet hops season.

Saturday: Oh, it’s a toss-up. Switching between Denver Beer Co’s Oktoberfest (check out the Steins and the pig!) or Falling Rock’s Fresh Hop Celebration.  I love this city.

Sunday:  Get ready for the Monument Beer Week.  And maybe head up to Boulder for the Amaro and 303 Cocktail Competition, since I had a lot of hops this weekend.

Track 2: The “Not-Beer, but-still-beverage-consumption” Scene

Friday:  Around the World in 80s Sips at Mile High Station

Saturday: I’m so ready for ski season.  TGR’s One For the Road at the Gothic.

Sunday: Haul my butt outta bed to Run the ‘Rocks 5k

See below for a detailed list for weekend events. Check out our full calendar to plan your events well into the future.
