Deschutes’ Woody Rolls into Town October 15-22 for Deschutes’ Base Camp

If you didn’t get your fill of great out-of-state beer during GABF, you’re in luck. Deschutes Brewery, out of Bend, Ore., is taking over Denver and Boulder for “Base Camp,” a week of special beer tastings, beer and food pairings, and appearances by Woody, the brewery’s giant beer barrel on wheels.

Deschutes describes its Base Camp Week as “a celebration of Mirror Pond’s easy-drinking goodness, along with many more of the brewery’s passion-heavy, pioneering brews.” The Deschutes Brewery team is traveling around to cities all over the West this year, and we’re excited they’re letting us Coloradan’s hold onto the dream of Beer Week for a little bit longer.
