Denver off the Wagon

If you are on the Twitter, you may have seen the recent hashtag #twEATdrink.  So what is all this #twEATdrink?

Sarah Gore, Chief Experience Architect of Stance, a customer experience company, says, “It’s simple, really.  We tweet, eat and drink because we can.  Nothing more and no agenda.”

And that’s certainly the case.  What started as a conversation between Gore and Leigh Sullivan of taking tweets off-line and putting them in person has created a monthly get together among the active users of Twitter in Denver.  For Gore and Sullivan, this is been a great way to see the people communicating daily while supporting independently owned establishments.  Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 11 from 4:30-7:30pm, Colt and Gray will host the fourth #twEATdrink.  Previous hosts included Encore on Colfax, Row 14, and Euclid Hall.  ”It is so easy to spread the love via social media about places we enjoy going to, so why not walk the walk and get new people out to new places so we can all TWEET, EAT and DRINK while meeting new folks?” says Gore.

What will be on the menu tomorrow?  Kevin Burke, bar manager of Colt and Gray, dishes on the menu for the #twEATdrink meet-up, “We’ll be featuring an Applejack Sazerac, Cabaret Cocktail (St-Germain and fresh berries), Hanky Panky Third Base (Dolin Rouge and Fernet, like a Manhattan with Fernet Branca), and tapping Russian River Supplication.  We’ll still have some of Avery’s Sacrilicious and the GABF Gold Medalist Pumkpin Ale from Upslope.  Looking forward to hosting Denver’s finest twitterati.”

So get those thumbs ready to text, tweet, and mingle.  We’ll see you tomorrow!
